Aloha Tweeps from Hawaii (and elsewhere, but this is primarily directed at Hawaii residents who are active on Twitter):
There are just a couple of weeks left before the election and Twitter is a landscape where a lot of political discussion is taking place. It really helps with rapid-fire response to issues that occur throughout the day.
I'm hoping some readers of FR are also active on Twitter, and so I want to encourage you to follow me and flag me that you're on so we can exchange messages among each other on that venue and help spread the word and inform others.
My Twitter handle is @francishunt
If you're not currently on Twitter, then now is the time to do it! Create a Twitter account and sign in and follow me, send me a message, and I'll help you from there!
Don't wait! The governors race is a dead heat, and Charles Djou is only up by a handful of points. Cam Cavasso has actually drawn to within 13 points, which is striking distance, of Dan Inouye.
Tweepers? Looks like we need a lexicon and lore update
Not really.
I’ve been known to TOOT now and then, but I’ve never tweeted.
Sorry, I was trying to describe Freepers who are active on Twitter (TWitter users sometimes refer to themselves as “Tweeps”). Hope that clears it up for you! :-D
Actually, I was accepting your word and calling for it to be added to the lexicon. HG was the one who had the issue.
