If the two internal Democratic polls, the Public Policy Polling survey and the Morning Call/Muhlenberg College tracker weren't enough evidence that the race for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania is tied, Quinnipiac University is out this morning reaffirming it.
Released Friday morning, the poll finds Democrat Joe Sestak and Republican Pat Toomey in a statistical dead heat, separated by just 2 points. Toomey is leading Sestak 48 percent to 46 percent among likely voters.

pass to everyone in PA you know, if nothing else, let just the name association sink in before voting
FBI, CIA, Able Danger, Bill Clinton, Sandy Berger, Rear Adm. * Joseph A. Sestak *, 9/11, Clinton-era national security scandals.
we have enough crooks and treasonist traiters in offices already
He did not... and they are a University... leftist to the core.
LLS
You know what?.... SCREW PA. What the hell is wrong with the citizenry??!! Open your eyes morons and look at what your choices are.
A country that willingly elects Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, and Reid, or any Obama socialist shill etc.... is doomed.
that got away before spellcheck corrected me

Corbett is up by 10.
Toomey is up by 10.
They will track together. Can’t see any dynamic in play for ticket splitting.
I think virtually ALL of these polls will—and by all accounts, should-—show some tightening. Of course they will tighten as the Dems finally/desperately rouse their base and run ads. That’s natural. If ANY GOP comes out of this weekend ahead or tied, I think they win. This is probably the high tide of the Dems, and so for Toomey to be up, I think he’ll win it, but not by a huge margin. This is still “teaser” PA.
Still, Toomey may really be choking this one away, at least into the margin where Scumbag Eddie Rendell and his massive vote fraud machine will make the difference.
Sleasetak is all over the air here in the Pittsburgh area spewing his lies and hate, while Toomey seems to be from the Casper Milquetoast wing of the GOP and isn't fighting back very hard at all and now time is running out.
This is right out of the playbook from the 4th district race of a few years back where sleazy weasel Jason Altmire - heavily funded by radical leftist groups - pounded Republican rep Melissa Hart endlessly with lies and she finally just caved in and gave up without a fight.
Toomey better not be pulling a "Melissa Hart" here but the evidence suggests that he just might be. We don't want to believe the polls which show the race tightening, and we want desperately to believe that Ras is always right (assuming he still show Toomey with a decent lead), but IMO it would be suprising if this race wasn't getting very close.
Toomey could still pull it out, possibly via Corbett's coattails (absent massive vote fraud, Corbett ought to stomp Rendell's twin brother, Danny "The Taxman" Onorato).
No hard numbers at the source to determine party affiliation, but there is this: “Toomey is beating Sestak 88 - 8 percent among Republicans and 56 - 35 percent among independent voters. But Sestak is winning 89 - 7 percent among Democrats.”
I think a lot of folks have been relaxing, forgetting about unions getting out the vote. Here in AZ, early voting is tied in AZ-8, with a great conservative running against a corrupt Dem who now lives in either DC or Texas.
But the teachers unions and public employee unions are desperate. They don’t want to face the sort of ‘cut-backs’ that the private sector has faced for the last 2 years, and they WILL spend every dime and get out every vote, dead or alive.
We won’t cruise to victory. Anyone telling you otherwise is a fool. This is going to be a hard fight.
A nice 2 pt win for Toomey, just big enough a margin to negate any serious consideration of a recount is fine by me.
I’ve begun to only trust Rassmussen and even then only lightly. Polls are screwy this year, plus while I’m certain there will be some tightening of races as the election nears. I also think that it’s in pollsters’ best interests to show races as close as possible because that’s the only way people are going to pay them any mind. ;)
It puzzles me that the Senate races are tightening, yet the House races look better every day.
My only thought is that since Senate races are statewide, that the urban thug vote is causing it to tighten, but that same vote doesn’t affect the House races since their districts were among those going Dem no matter what...
It's PA. NEVER assume a GOPer has anything "locked up."
I think Obama has drawn a fireline on the senate. He is needs to hold the sentate to control the agenda.
1.2 million more registered Dems than GOP. Everything tightened in 1994 also.
SEIU was all over SE PA last week. 3 thugs pounded on my Daughters door and were very aggressive.
I think they know the House is gone, so they’re pushing for the Senate.
You know what?...For a small voice, you have an equally small mind, and a substantially large mouth.
Those of us that live in PA and are Freepers take umbrage {look it up you small voiced, small minded, large mouthed bass} with your advice.
We are not morons, piss off and take your small voiced, small brained opinion with you.
If the leftist pollsters wanted some action as a result of their polls they got it, I contributed to Toomey just now.

Me too.
