For those wondering just how close this is on the border... IIRC driving through El Paso on the interstate if you look to the imediate south you are looking at Ciudad Juarez. You can see the houses from there.

The bottom half of the picture is El Paso, Tx. The University of Texas at El Paso is in the middle. I-10 is barely visible running across the photo just above UTEP. The entire top half of the photo is Juarez, Mexico.
