She was a nationally syndicated columnist. While it might be a ‘chance of a lifetime’ to you or I, it wasn’t to her.
Anyway, we just agree to disagree on this.
Im not a partisan, and Im certainly not an ideologue, Parker explains in our interview. I got labeled a conservative by the marketplace. Ive never actually declared myself a conservative.
So.... why did Klein hire her? If not as a balance to Spitzer and her politics are unremarkable, what audience is she hoping to draw? She certainly can't compete with the women on FOX.
I agree. The show will die because she is milquetoast and Spitzer is too dogmatically leftist. He’s also arrogant and derisive, something with a new journalist can’t afford to be.
Which is exactly why she got the gig.
It's unwatchable -- the highest form of derision in the medium. And it will be gone -- forever -- by the New Year.
Bad career move for Kathleen. But, after her performance leading up to 2008, she richly deserves it.
