“This. We really, really need to make sure we vet candidates better.”

Case in point: PRESIDENT OBAMA.

Notice how the first comment lays into tancredo... I’m sorry folks but I’m not buying it. You have liberal Democrat groups who attacked McInnis for much ago about nothing, then attacked Maes for things that happened decades ago, and now attack Tancredo.

ALL 3 CANDIDATES are better than Hickenlooper. We just need one to stand up for ... I guess that one is ... Tancredo.

What’s the budget for all that?

Just Medicare Part D alone is estimated to cost about a trillion bucks over ten years.

Chicken feed in your little GOP-addled world, right?

A trillion here, and a trillion there, pretty soon we're talking real money...

Social security and medicare which your democrats created alone has 99 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities.

Post the budget on all that you say Republicans created in 12 years for 2006 the last year of Republican Congress. It isn't even 1%. That's not growing government. That's not big government.

In 12 years of the Republican Congress Part D is all you have. And you call that big government , 1 bill .LOL LOL.

That wasn't big government any way as Bush wanted to allow private companies to compete in medicare to destroy medicare and the liberal media pushed Bush to do that and they wanted to do that to avoid government heaalthcare.

LOL. Democrats will socialize all of healthcare so that lie you post is more of a lie.

Yes, you are a puppet.
Surely Tanc has warts - any politician does. But in the bigger scheme, you have an acceptable conservative against a dangerous liberal. Helping the greater evil win is evil...

As for your pet item: on the numbers, TARP itself has come in way under $700b net cost, about $50b actually, and a fraction of the $3 TRILLION Obama and the Dems have added to the debt in the past 2 years. TARP isnt the most important deficit vote - the Obama budget, the stimulus, Obamacare and cap-and-tax are. A republicans are better than the liberal Dems.

more importantly, if you cede this race to Hickenlooper, he will redistrict Colorado to give more power Pelosi, Barney Frank, and other liberal Democrats who voted for TARP, Obamacare, stimulus, and cap-and-tax...
WHY GIVE THE LIBERAL DEMS MORE POWER?

Federal spending. Note the years, and who was in charge. And then tell me that Republicans haven't been just as responsible, or should I say irresponsible, as the Democrats.

It's a two-legged, Republican/Democrat socialist beast, but it's all one beast.

Yes why part D is the problem with our Country, not the thousands of government agencies that democrats created , not the democrats’ social security and medicare which alone have 99 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities. Part D.Part D. why all we have to do is get rid of part D and then we’d have a tiny government (sarcasm) and all our problems would be solved.LOL.

Part D which you say is 1 trillion over 10 years which is 100 billion per year. so if our government had a budget of 100 billion that is a large government to you? what if we reduced the budget from 3.4 trillion to 100 billion I guess that wouldn’t be anything. LOL.

That's mostly mandatory democrat programs like social security and medicare and Bush's military spending. You and the liberal media have the same graphs.

Discretionary government spending as a percentage of GDP decreased during Republican Congress.

Number of government workers per 1000 population didn't increase during Republican Congress.

I don't care what you say. What you say means nothing. I know democrats created almost all government agencies and social security and medicare which account for most spending increases and have 99 trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities.

Republicans in 12 years didn’t create the thousands of laws and government agencies that are crippling our economy and have the USA almost being a socialist state. No that was democrats. But you say it is 1 bill Part D which was bipartisan that is the problem, that is what is creating a socialist state . and you say I’m loopy.

If you can’t see democrats are the problems then you haven’t the capacity for rational thought.

I don't care what you say. What you say means nothing.

Gosh. What a typically arrogant thing to say. Lots of Republican "leaders" feel the same way toward conservatives, but few of them are as foolish as you and will say it openly.

Especially in one of America's premiere conservative forums.

democrat programs like social security and medicare

Name me five Republican politicians that have not strenuously supported those programs over the last few decades.

Shoot, name me one.

Yes, you are a puppet.

Sigh...did you like the Kool-Aid?

Surely Tanc has warts - any politician does. But in the bigger scheme, you have an acceptable conservative against a dangerous liberal. Helping the greater evil win is evil...

Oh really? Can you quote me scripture and verse on that? Or is that something that 'intelligent' man thought up all by himself?

As for your pet item: on the numbers, TARP itself has come in way under $700b net cost, about $50b actually...

And you call ME a "puppet"?

Do you realize how TARP was paid for? It was primarily by selling US Treasury securities. Do you understand what happens when a buyer makes a claim on that debt? It becomes money - in addition to the money that was used to initially buy the debt!

So you're telling me that $650 billion of the NEW money (not currency - but money) went away? I'd say that you don't understand how a money supply works.

...and a fraction of the $3 TRILLION Obama and the Dems have added to the debt in the past 2 years.

I don't like the $3 trillion in new deficits anymore than you do - but do you understand WHY they are spending like drunken sailors?

It's because to do any less would expose the extreme deflationary spiral depression that we are currently mired in! Do you honestly think that the Republicans are going to quit creating new debt? If they do, then people will see the full depression in all its glory.

That's what happens when we use a debt-based currency.

TARP isnt the most important deficit vote - the Obama budget, the stimulus, Obamacare and cap-and-tax are.

They are all sinful - every last one of them.

A republicans are better than the liberal Dems.

Not from a fiscal perspective they're not! They continue to promulgate debt-based currency exactly the same as the Democrats. History shows that the Democrats steal through higher taxes, while the Republicans steal through the "trust" funds.

...more importantly, if you cede this race to Hickenlooper, he will redistrict Colorado to give more power Pelosi, Barney Frank, and other liberal Democrats who voted for TARP, Obamacare, stimulus, and cap-and-tax...

I give the race to the Creator of all things. Do you really think that He cares if we vote for the lesser of two evils? Don't you think that He would rather have us obey His Word?

WHY GIVE THE LIBERAL DEMS MORE POWER?

Why elect someone governor who has a proven track record of indebting my progeny by $700+ billion and voting for the Patriot Act?

Tom Tancredo needs to seek repentence for those actions. If he does, then my family will vote for him - not until.

Name one democrat politician that is for doing that ,abolishing a government agency, or isn’t for Amnesty?

Bush wanted to privatize social security.

Republican Hensarling Advocates Cutting Benefits And Privatizing Social Security

In the name of deficit reduction, House Republicans are going back to the Social Security well, offering budget proposals similar to those President George W. Bush proposed after his 2004 re-election that would privatize Social Security accounts and reduce cost of living adjustments.

You live in Texas.

I live in Tom Tancedo's old Congressional District.

I have also known Tom since long before he became a Congressman - back when he was in the statehouse. He helped to get our homeschooling statutes enacted.

Tom Tancredo is a good man - but one who let the power get to him.

I can no longer trust Tom to lead in the fear of God. Because of this, my family will not be voting for him.

I think I am much closer to the situation than your personal opinion cast from another state.

Bush wanted to privatize social security.

No, he didn't. He wanted to play around with a couple percent around the margins. It was a joke. Lip service, no more.

“I give the race to the Creator of all things.”

He is not a voter in Colorado. You are his hands and his feet, and failure to use YOUR talents is failure to live His Word. You ‘give’ the race by doing what YOU can.

” Do you really think that He cares if we vote for the lesser of two evils? “

God is pro-life.

You think he wants you NOT to care about that difference?

“Can you quote me scripture and verse on that?”
