This is probably the worst Friday night of my life - and that's saying something. I'm sat on a high stool at a small table, plasma screens are oozing sports programmes around my head and there is a grubby plastic menu in front of me that is littered with pictures of fast food.
Not a green vegetable in sight, unless you count a deep fried chilli, coated in batter.
There is the thump, thump, thump of awful music in the background, competing with the braying of table upon table of men: young men, old men, students, office workers, football supporters...
Weaving between the tables are young women bearing enormous, overflowing jugs of beer and steaming piles of food. I keep beckoning the wrong waitress, as it's so hard to tell them apart.

I don't need to go to Hooters to have a beautiful woman make me feel like she is happy to see me, and I feel sorry for those who have to purchase such a fleeting and transitory illusion of such.

I like Hooters. I don’t think I like Liz.
Yet I and a lovely redheaded woman with killer legs and and an amazing .... um, okay, enough ... my girlfriend, went there. Maybe people sometimes go there just to eat. Maybe people like myself, my gal, the families scattered in booths all over, and the occasional couple.

Personally, I saw them more as a restaurant with a goofy gimmick (and reasonably good wings).....
.... but that's just me.

We got one in Cobb county Ga...near Kennesaw(And Kennesaw State..yum). I dunno where all they’re located.
Opinions, they are like defecatory portals. :) I simply don't see it that way, and it appears nearly every city, including many deep in the Bible Belt, agree with my defacatory portal.
They zone them as Light Commercial Without Restriction (as opposed to With Restriction, like strip clubs, tobacco shops, and gun stores).

Be sure to get the fried pickles/jalapenos. They’re addictive. I live at my local Hooters. The girls mostly are college undergrads, and most are good friends. Always ask about my dog. They can’t beat the money and schedule. Nothing trashy about them.
I frequent our local Hooters quite a bit, and entertain a lot of clients there. I have made friends with all the waitresses. None are as you describe. I’ve been to other Hooters in many states, and haven’t seen what you describe. All the waitresses I know are extremely nice. I am NOT LONELY, and I don’t hit on the waitresses (I also don’t drink). They actually have decent food (try the fried pickles/jalapenos). The girls have flexible schedules that allow them to go to school and make great money. You sound like a bitter old hag.
