Limbaugh Endorses Raese

Republican senate candidate John Raese was praised by talk show host Rush Limbaugh yesterday. John Raese is a Reagan Republican, and that race is much closer than the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee would have you believe. That race can be won by John Raese, said Limbaugh.
Now, full disclosure: I happen to know John Raese. Hes a part-time resident here in Palm Beach, and hes got a locker right across the bench from me at a prominent local club, Limbaugh continued. Ive never played golf with him, but Ive met him. And hes a real deal. He has a tremendous amount of humility, but hes extremely competent, very successful private sector businessman.
Limbaughs remarks gave Democratic Gov. Joe Manchin more fodder for his claims that Raese, whose wife is registered to vote in Florida, is not sufficiently committed to West Virginia. A Manchin TV ad accuses Raese of living in Florida to to avoid paying West Virginia taxes, and mentions that his wife will not be able to vote for him, thanks to her Florida voter status.
Raese told CNN in an interview that his family lives in Florida because of circumstances relating to their special needs daughter. I have a special child and there are not a lot of services around for that special child, and so we picked out a school that would be a very good school for her, he said. But we have houses here in West Virginia. This is where I vote, this is where Im from. Im running for the U.S. Senate but Ill do anything I can to take care of my children.
Manchin is already airing ads showing Raese's "pink marble Palm Beach Estate".
If I were the club, I'd empty Rush's locker and put his stuff out by the road.
