Shots hit Pentagon; temporary lockdown

Someone fired shots at the Pentagon early Tuesday, hitting the building and causing minor damage, defense officials said.

Police who protect the massive Defense Department headquarters temporarily locked down some road and pedestrian entrances to the building after a civilian reported he may have heard shots at about 5 a.m. on the south side of the facility.

Interesting. How much of the Pentagon is undergoing “renovation” at any one time? On 9/11, wasn’t the segment hit by the plane still closed due to a recent renovation project?

Considering the size of the building, I would imagine that some part of it is always undergoing renovation.

Kind of like the Gulf Freeway between Galveston and Houston. Start at one end. Work your way to the other. Start over at the first end.

She also urgent that the public be on the lookout for the following radicals.


In other news President Obama issued a formal apology to the people of Algeria for the unprovoked burning of the Philadelphia and the shelling of the city of Tripoli. Obama is looking into ordering the United States Marine Corps (or corpse as pronounced by the President) to remove the repulsive incident from the Marines Hymn and is asking US Attorney Eric Holder to look into if any war crimes may have been comitted by US Military personnel during the incident.
