A mosque, according to the original and still prevailing standard, is a community meeting place where prayer is done, and government is held, and social events are conducted ~ which is because in Islam there is NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH, STATE, CULTURE, LAW, etc.

On what basis does the DOJ call a movement that is in large part inconsistent with the U.S. Constitution a "religion"?
When one considers the impact of Sharia law, a current core component of Islam as practiced everywhere than perhaps the U.S., the DOJ's position is clearly ludicrous
