Paladino blew it.

He had an almost national stage at his disposal. Instead of forcefully and clearly detailing the reasons that we should make him CEO of NYS he answered every question with a re-statement of the problem rather than a detailed solution. He wasted the first 2/3 of every 60 or 90 second slot this way and then added a broad "I'll fix it" statement almost as an afterthought.

His appearance was dishevelled, his answers were disjointed and his thoughts disorganized. I wish that this were not so but it is.

I'll check off his name but it will be a vote against Cuomo and I'll be holding my nose.

If you have to mention your opinion that Paladino was “disheveled,” you must not remember *THE* Jack Kennedy, the un-metrosexual.

I heard Paladino’s very good interview with John Gambling (who is back in my good graces, for now) this morning. The podcast is online at www.wor710.com/pages/8386022.php?

Gambling agreed that the format was bad, and not much time could be given to anyone, being that there were 7 candidates. He wants to see a one on one debate between Cuomo and Paladino.

You’re so ready to give up, and I’m not.

Well you stand alone because you want a polished politician and we have a stable full of them that we’re trying to get rid of. And every article that I’ve read on the debates said it was a lousy format.
