RUSSIAN President Dmitry Medvedev has handed top state honours to the Russian spies deported from the US in July in the biggest spy scandal since the Cold War, the Kremlin says.

"A ceremony took place in the Kremlin today to hand top state honours to a number of Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) employees, including the spies who were working in the United States and returned to Russia in July," Kremlin spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said in a statement on Russian news agencies.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who served as a KGB agent in East Germany, has said that he has met the spies and even sung patriotic songs with them. He blamed "traitors" for blowing their cover.

Why on earth would we return them to Russia with no questions asked? Typical Obama f-up or an intentional Obama f—king!

Maybe the Russians sent their spies here so they could get information on what Communism is, as practiced by the Obama Administration.

This thread is worthless without pics of Anna Chapman (preferably in her underwear).

Right, it wasn't an "F-up". They probably gathered a lot of important intel on us. Meanwhile, the ones we got back likely learned little, as if the Obama camp would be interested anyway.

Too funny. We have made these rather inept spies into international stars. Expect Anna to go into making movies. Expect her in the next Russian Vampire flick—maybe in her underwear. Then again, she could be in a spy film?

“...sensational spy swap that saw Moscow send four Russian convicts to the West.”

Anyone got any info on who the four the Russians sent us?
