While many have speculated on Reid losing but the Democrats keeping the Senate, that outcome would mean Majority Leader Durbin or Schumer. Durbin has the seniority and is currently Reid’s Deputy Majority Leader, but I have heard speculation on Schumer succeeding Reid.
But but but but ... didn’t we all agree that the NV voters were insane to choose Angle in the primary? Didn’t that guarantee a win for Reid because Angle is so extreme (stupid) (crazy) (unelectable) (etc.)?
Can anyone explain why there are even that many Libbie-swine in Nevada?
I can understand all the flakes in Calif, but Nevdada???

It’s mostly around Vegas. Tons of Hispanics there, and assorted nere-do-wells attracted to Vegas’s “anything goes” cultural atmosphere.

Sounds like this should be mentioned on the Tea Party Express tour of Nevada, as well as other Radio Talk Shows...
The Angle campaign was quick to put that statement in a new ad.
"Harry complains that he, too, is on a fixed income of only '$197,000' a year. Of course, Harry Reid left out his government paid for health care, body guards, chauffered limosine and pension benefits."

The LDS church does not endorse candidates, but some LDS will vote for Harry. I really doubt that he will get more than 50% of the LDS vote. I am LDS and have cast a ballot against Harry every time he has run. I early voted today, and voted for Sharon.
As a note of interest. It is Monday morning, and still the polling place had the most voters I have seen at an early voting location. I am in Clark County.

I knew they would. Go Angle campaign. Seems like they’ve righted the ship after the primary and are on the road to victory.
The Mormon angle and Harry Reid
If half of them vote for Harry that could be the deciding factor.
I am former LDS and am quite aware of the behind the scenes influence that is directed at members on matters such as elections. As I posted earlier, it will be interesting when the voting stats actually come out after the election.
