DARFUR RHETORIC JUST DOESN'T MAKE MILITARY SENSE By Christine O'Donnell The News Journal June 9, 2007
In a remote African region called Darfur, the terrorist group Janjaweed is committing brutal genocide by riding in on horses, setting fire to villanges, and slaughtering Christians. It is said this massacre is perpetrated by the Sudanese government and therefore its citizens are left nearly defenseless. Until recently few knew of this region and even fewer new of the tragedy. It was dismissed as a civil war.
Fortunately, the eyes of the world are now focused on this crisis - so focused that it become a hot issue during the New Hampshire Democratic presidential debates. When US Sen. Joe Biden called for military action in Darfur, all the other candidates chimed in. Specifically, they clamored for a no-fly zone. Yet the obvious flaw with a no-fly zone approach is that the Janjaweed are attacking on the ground. How will a no-fly zone prevent these terrorists from mounting horses and invading villages?
Just for the sake of argument, let's pretend a no-fly zone is actually a real strategy for handling the Darfur crisis. No-fly zones are only effective when a violation of that international agreement is met with serious consequences. Before spouting off these threats...

Wilmington, Delaware (October 18, 2010) -- A newspaper article by Chris Coons, titled "The Making of a Bearded Marxist," has become a prominent part of Delaware's high-profile campaign for the U.S. Senate between Republican upstart Christine O'Donnell and Democrat County Executive Chris Coons.

arm the victims
that’s how you do it
Notice if she had included the fact that it is Christians that are being slaughtered, by Muslims, the msm would be all over this calling her an Islamophobe.
The problem is that George “pretty Boy” Clooney was in the Sudan vsiting a village of Christians that are awaiting, yet another slaughter by the Muslims. The last time they raped old women. Killed pregnant women and murdered young men.
YET the World and OBAMA stand by and do NOTHING.
thats how you do it
Roger that.
But then you might have some sort of armed Christian success over Islam, and Caliph Soetoro will not have any of *that*.
true that
Oh, yeah! That was when she had said she would support the Republican nominee, but when Miss O'Donnell didn't get the nomination, she decided to run a write-in campaign against the Republican nominee.
What's that term I hear thrown around here....was it "Sour Grapes"...?
(FWIW, I don't think there's anything wrong with running a write-in campaign...)
Watch Christine O’Donnell speaking in her own words in campaign speeches and TV appearances on the issues:

So, it’s okay to lie and break promises if it gets out the vote, huh?
If you really are a lawyer, you chose your profession well.
It is not okay that Chris Coons broke all of his promises, no. Coons broke his promise not to raise taxes and on many other topics.
Time to give someone else the seat
Since CHristine was strongly opposed to the Democrat pretending to be a Republican in the 2006 race, I seriously doubt that she ever promised to support the nominee.
Yes...either way, America is going to get stuck with another liar that nobody can rely upon. It's sad, no matter what happens.
It’s irrelevant, since she often doesn’t stay consistent on things she says anyway.
Bottom line, it’s either Coons or Loons. I’m hoping one of the loons pulls it off, and the only one with hope is Christine O’Donnell.
Doesn’t mean I’m okay with dishonesty, though.
So when are you planning to stop being dishonest?
You don’t have to wait for New Years to hae a Resolution to change.
