” Southern leaders willing to starve the kids, but not confront the Devil.”
What? You lost me.
North Korea is so FUBAR, how would you ever fix it. The people are like those poor children that have been locked in a closet all of their lives and told lie upon ,lie. I mean everything they know in the world is false. I am not sure they could handle the truth if they realized it.
Regarding your post, I really can’t disagree with it.
Let’s say for the sake of argument that both Koreas are unified sometime in the next 5 years - regardless of how violent the unification was.
The people of North Korea (not to mention the infrastructure) are so emotionally and politically stunted that the cost of reincorporating the North would be almost prohibitive.
Now, that’s not to say that the two Koreas should never be unified. In fact, I look forward to that day. Nonetheless, the process will be an extraordinarily wrenching experience in terms of money. The cost of re-educating, feeding and making the north the equal of the south will be well, A LOT!
Well if the North is giving all the rice to the army you can’t blame the South....
Not ANOTHER Lost Cause thread?
