“Wow! 17 comments before the suggestion to read the article! Just amazing. It’s so much easier to comment on the headline. Reading the article could take time.”

UPI wrote it. They are known for pure liberal trash. The whole story is six paragraphs long.

Excerpts: “Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is defending the Obama administration's foreign policy against attacks from fellow Republicans.”

“Appearing at the Aspen Institute in Washington, D.C., Friday evening, Rice said, “Nothing in this president's methods suggests this president is other than a defender of America's interests.”

“She has refused to join in criticism of the current administration....”

“Speaking to Fox News's Bill O’Reilly, she praised her successor, Hillary Clinton.”

Now you want us to shout hosannas about her exactly why?

oh, it would be so much better if the former U.S. Secretary of State reduced herself to the level of Jimmy Carter or Madeline Albright, criticizing her successor or the sitting POTUS. That would really serve America’s interests abroad!

Rice continues to defend the policies of the Bush Administration, with which she is identified. Asked about her successor and the current POTUS, she showed diplomatic skill, maturity and class. She is not an elected official, never was. Her role is totally different.

I’d leave the petty BS, together with history’s verdict, to the Carters and Albrights. If Rice’s primary interest is the USA, instead of making political hay, she’ll make rather tepid remarks that could be construed as ‘defending’ current U.S. foreign policy.
