Me too. That was a show the whole family could watch. God bless her family and friends.

Sad, another time, another world. I miss it.I put thousands of miles on my bike as a kid with nothing to worry about except the occasional car and the town bully. Didn't have to worry about him any more after he needed stitches to sew his lower lip together. Best overhand right I ever threw.

Sad, another time, another world. I miss it.It had it's positives and negatives.
Remember, it wasn't all good:
- We lived in constant threat of nuclear Armageddon with the Soviet Union.
- Medicine was a fraction of it's current skill-level.
- There were no cell phones.
- There were no personal computers.
- Smoking was tolerated everywhere.
- Women were pickier about their bed-mates.
On the other hand, there were good points:
- We lived in fear of nuclear attack from ONLY the Soviet Union.
- Medical bills were a fraction of it's current cost.
- There were no cell phones.
- There were no personal computers.
- Smoking was tolerated everywhere.
- Women were pickier about their bed-mates.

“Sad, another time, another world. I miss it.’’ So do I. It’s an America that’s vanished. The older I get the more clearly I see that.

I can’t believe she was 94. I still watch the reruns sometimes. Such a change in our society since those days and not for the better.
