“Boycott Ketchup! (Specifically Heinz).”

Sheesh! People say that all the time on FR.

Terresa Heinz Kerry has NOTHING to do with Heinz Company or ketchup. It belonged to her late husband, the one who was a Republican Senator, and the company was sold eons ago.

According to Snopes, the Heinz family (which donates at least $140 million annually through 3 family foundations) still owned a 4% interest in the company. Probly (sic) some nice dividends with that - you think?

So, assuming they still own around 4% of the HNZ - with a market cap around $16 Billion, that’s $640 Million - that’s a lot of catsup SatinDoll. ;)

Terraaaazzzzzzaa may have nothing to do with the ketchup, but in a big taste test some time back Heinz did NOT win — The winner was...............ta da.......... Hunt’s !!!
