Brave outdoors woman, devoted mother, one able to sport perfectly coiffed hair even when wearing a raincoat - that's the impression Sarah Palin makes in the just-released trailer (featured on the Hollywood Reporter site) for Palin's upcoming TLC documentary series, "Sarah Palin's Alaska."
"Oh gosh! We are somewhere people dream about," Palin exclaims while hiking through the snow, surrounded by spectacular mountains. And that's just Palin's first outdoor activity featured during the clip. In 30 seconds she also kayaks down a river, rides an ATV and runs a dog sled.
If the trailer is to be believed, the documentary series won't just show Palin conquering the great wide open; it will also give viewers a peek into her domestic life. Here, she's shown holding her son Trig and hanging out in her house in athletic shorts. "Family comes first, it's just got to be that way," Palin says.
The trailer also shows a small plane soaring through the sky and Palin rowing down river. "This is flipping fun! Why can't we ever just be satisfied with tranquility!" shouts the former governor.
Large words fly across the screen: "No lobbyists. Only one agenda. Family adventure. Step into Sarah's backyard."
"I'd rather be doing this than in some stuffy old political office," Palin says. "I'd rather be out here being free." And TLC hopes you want to watch her being free. The show premieres at 9:00 on November 14th on TLC.

Alaska's a big state and they're not all that crazy-statist up there. A half-hour behind the wheel and you're in nowheresville. Not too hard to feel free there.
It's a good idea to be prepared for just about anything as you enjoy this freedom. Put another way: You might just be the one you've been waiting for, 'cause help could be a long way off.

Sarah and her family are awesome. Seeing and hearing them verifies that they’re incredible Americans. This series will diminish and discredit the RATs that are trying to destroy her.
