I agree 100%

I think those match the majority here... and Tom McClintock.

You are in good company. :-)

Usually I get one that confuses me and I have to depend on the opinion of others.

NO ON 24.

The "yes" ads the teachers & public employees unions run on this are disgusting beyond description.

They are definitely confusing. I have spent hours sometimes reading and deciphering these things. With all of the double negatives and double positives, it is hard sometimes to know what you are saying "No" or "Yes" to. Combine that with all the dirty little provisions they hide in the fine print, it is no wonder that voters are sick of initiatives -- and few understand them to start with.

The propositions are pretty easy for a FReeper to understand. It’s all the judges that have me wondering.

All but 19. Two reasons: 1)When was the last time a ballot issue came down that referred specifically to ¨local control? I kind of like that this issue does just that. 2)When marijuana is regulated it will no no longer be unregulated. That seems simple enough.

I'm not sure about all the propositions,

but ABSOUTELY POSITIVELY YES ON 23.

This is a no-brainer. But remember it's California where the majority of people have no brains.

John and Ken on KFI 640 gave out the same results and I verified what the Howard Jarvis Tax Foundation suggested. Both gave the same results so those posted above are good.

Let’s go kick some butt on the 2nd November!

I was a voting California resident for 30 years. My rule on propositions involving money was very simple. If it costs us money - NO! Other propositions were looked at for their relative value.

I’m inclined to agree with the above, although I’m still undecided on Prop 22. I believe you had some concerns about it?

22 Prohibits the State from Borrowing or Taking Funds Used for Transportation, Redevelopment, or Local Government Projects and Services. Initiative Constitutional Amendment.

We passed this a few years ago but apparently not as an amendment to the California Constitution.

I hope I’m correct in stating that this prop will add or amend this to California
s Constitution.

I need to check my voter guide to be sure but can’t right now...got a newborn grand daughter I need to visit in the hospital.

What a great day!!!
