You know, comrades,” says Stalin, “that I think in regard to this: I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this — who will count the votes, and how. Boris Bazhanov’s Memoirs of Stalin’s Former Secretary, published in 1992 Sadly, it would seem that several blue states decided the would cut out the middle-man — rather than worry about counting the votes, they’ll simply neglect to send them in a timely fashion.

According to the MOVE Act, the states were supposed to mail out absentee ballots to overseas voters, including military personnel serving in foreign lands, 45 days before an election. Delaware, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington State all applied for waivers from the Department of Justice regarding compliance with this act, which were granted, despite the lack of demonstrable hardship that left them unable to comply with the law, which is the standard for granting such a waiver.

But as Ma’am Boxer says, she respects the military, just not the job they are hired to do.

So which states have open Senate seats again?? The ones who will take a seat with the lame duck Congress....??

Could they include New York and Illinois? Maybe Delaware?

When I was in the military there was a saying:

"Nothing's too good for our fighting men, and Nothing's what they get".

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama and a bunch of people living safely in the US Voted EARLY.

Many states (at least the blue ones) have adopted EARLY VOTING, and the expense that ensues.

So.... mailing out the military ballots should be a no brainer. They've had years to prepare, and the Various MAIL SERVICES around the world aren't very busy anymore.

You would think the DEMS could make some gains in the dead military voter department, or maybe they already do.

There is NO excuse.

I think I see the plan.

Mail out military/foreign ballots late.

Then someone in the Obama admin will ‘deem’ that all ballots sent out but not received back in time will be counted as all democrat. This will be based on the concept that the only soldiers that are brave and get killed are Democrat Soldiers, and everyone already knows that dead people vote solid DEM.

Satire? We will see.

While it is a not too well known fact that most absentee ballots do not get counted until there is a result where absentees could make a difference, military absentees should have ballots sent them after the election where the difference is less than 1%.

Good post that has some great examples of how big government bureaucracies facilitate the subversion of rule of law and democracy.
