Indians are a sovereign nation. Since when can they vote in our elections? Was not aware they could do so.

Indians are US Citizens are their lands are part of the United States and subject to the control of the federal government. Indian reservations are not countries.

1924 is when they were granted the vote I think. But some states resisted allowing them.

They vote hugely dem and are a key dem constituency in South Dakota. Tim Johnson was able to steal the 2002 Senate race by running up the score on the reservations.
