Not just all the miners. They stayed for all the rescue workers who were the last to come out. He then spoke to and met with the families.
Most people do not realize this but I heard the snarky leftist BBC chap streaming last night admit it. The BBC was mentioning Pincohet and other leftist digs last night.
Anyway:
Pres. Pinera was told by his cabinet and advisers to not get too close to the rescue attempt just after the cave in. They said there was a 2% chance of saving them and you will get blamed for it if it fails.
The President ignored them and went flat out 110% doing anything and everything to save them. He is a great man.
I cannot understand Spanish and there was some BBC interpreter on the stream last night over the web. President Pinera avoided the word that Clinton qand Obama always use - “I.”
It is always about them or blaming Republicans. President Pinera was outstanding. He never mentioned “I” but he sure mentioned God a lot.
I can see why. The rescue was pretty close to a miracle as we will ever see.
“She then gets an Army recruiter telling her son how wonderful it is serve as a walking target in Afghanistan.”
Especially with Hussein’s “rules of engagement” and the fact the U.S. govt is now filled with Islamic Brotherhood moles like Major Hassan leaking intel back to Al Qeada and the Taliban how to kill our boys.
If you think that is BS - look waht happene din the UK after Brown was tossed. The SAS became far more effective because the Labour Party Muslims were tossed. I hope the Brits do not share intel because the Islamic US Govt with Saudis owning all of TV will leak it to our enemies.
Absolutely true.
Obama is a thoroughly repulsive human being (if he is a human being). He is completely devoid of decency and positive attribute.
“Yeah, so was Jesus on this topic.”
Matthew 7:14 (New International Version)
“But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Only through Jesus Christ do we have any righteousness at all.
‘the science of polling is dead now. The polls really only influence people now.’
You may be right. But this year, the error should be in our favor! As you say, they are attempting to influence the public nevertheless.
“They will be working at the local McDonald’s, after 160,000 dollars was spent on their education that is still due on the credit card.”
Wow, brutal reality check - but truth. This is the RATS ‘hope and change.’ More like: “$2 and 17 cents is your change, sir.”
Where it should be/
“This is happening all over the country. Reality has met Hope and Change, and it ain’t pretty.”
The blame everyone else game is over.
“His basement for strongly approve is 20-22%”
And the nation’s mental hospitals simply don’t have the capacity to handle a crowd this size. Half probably live in NY and CA already. Why not just cordon off both states and ship the other half to join them?
I hope so as it looks as if its going the other way. I see Murkowski closing the gap within a 1% spread with Joe Miller, now Raese holding a miniscule lead over Manchin and sudden Strickland is narrowing the big gap with Kasich. Even the race is Ct. seems to now favor Blumenthal by a wider margin than it did last week.
That’s the pattern I’ve observed: BO’s numbers get better over each weekend, then are down to the -17 to -22 range by Friday.
We all should get out more.
yes I noticed that as well. . . no O mention.
