The only thing that could apparently derail either Boxer or Brown would maybe be to be found in bed with a live goat. And even that would increase the PETA turnout, and Islamist turnout... I have a close friend who lives in Poway, CA, who is passionately conservative, but I keep concluding the same thing that you do. It’s as though Californians, a majority at least, are totally fed up with freedom and prosperity and long for an impoverished, third-world dictatorship. They must think Haiti is some kind of heaven on earth.
Keep your chin up... Remember, this year, so many more Republican, Independents, and Tea Party folks are going to turn out that the polls probably will be wrong.
