If the ; separates different citations, footnotes 3 and 4 list between them 13 different citations and/or legal precedents to support the claim that the Sec Def and other subordinates are the means through which the President exercises his own executive power and authority.
That’s 13 reasons why Denise Lind should have made judicial note of this. 13 reasons why the DOD’s claim that the authority comes only through Congress and not through the President is all washed up.
That’s a lot of precedent. Glad you posted this again.
