The subheading on this one should be Shhhhhhhhhhhh. Feisty crowd, feisty McMahon and a Blumenthal who pretty much put me to sleep. But there were some classic moments, as youll see.
Ill have another post later but heres a quick recap. Right out of the gate Blumenthal was asked one more time about how jobs were created. A little more lucid this time but government is still the answer. McMahons retort, and Im paraphrasing nice to know youve been working on your answer Mr Blumenthal.
But I think the best was saved for last. As youll hear Blumenthal lights the fuse when he claims he cant be bought by the special interest campaign contributions hes taken. The people of Connecticut know me. It was all Linda needed to hear
Paraphrasing, Indeed they do. It was off to the races for everyone including the crowd.

Unfortunately a lot of voters there are STILL drinking the rat poisoned koolaid!!
I agree. She has been an amazing candidate and has run one of the best—if not the best—campaigns this season. Especially for someone who is new to politics. She still has an uphill fight but I will be very happy if she wins.
I don’t know if they have any more debates. However, if they do and he starts dissing the WWE, if I were her I would turn to him and pull out the statistics of how many people from Conneticut are employed by the WWE and how much corporate tax money they pay to the state. Then ask him how many jobs he’s personally created or how much any of his businesses have paid in state taxes.
Also, I thought she missed an opportunity in that clip when he was talking about fighting battles for green energy. She went back to his credibility but she could have made the same point by pointing out that he is fantasizing about fighting battles again. That may be too mean, I don’t know. But I think it would have gotten the point across in a humorous way and then she could have had more time to address the issue of energy.
Momma Mac took little boy Bloomie to the woodshed.
Eliot Spitzer minus the black socks.
Linda is wiping the floor with this guy, he knows it, and there’s nothing he can do except smile like an idiot.
He looks like Reinhard Heydrich on Botox
This is Glenn Beck interviewing Blumenthal after he decided to go after the legal bonuses received by AIG executives. Glenn repeatedly asks Blumenthal to cite which law was broken that allowed the state to sue for legally paid, Congress approved bonuses.
Blumenthal has got to be one of the slimiest politicians I have seen in a long time. He stammers for 5 minutes but is never able to justify his actions.
The guy is a complete sleazeball.
He has such a sleazy, smarmy demeanor. I hope he gets his clock cleaned on election day.
