Several community groups Tuesday condemned billboards throughout Milwaukee that warn "Voter Fraud is a Felony," saying they are an attempt by right-wing sources to intimidate and suppress minority voting.
At a press conference in front of one of the billboards at S. 22nd St. and W. Morgan Ave., the groups called on Clear Channel Outdoor, the owner of the billboards, to take down the ads and disclose who paid for them.
The bottom of the billboards, which show people behind jail bars, the words "We Voted Illegally" and the penalty for voting illegally, disclose only that the billboards were paid for "by a private family foundation."
"We're tired of these tactics and signs like these that keep various groups from participating," said Jayme Montgomery-Baker, state director of the League of Young Voters. "There are so many other issues we should be talking about, like jobs, education and health care."

How are those signs bad again?
I guess those “drink, drive, go to jail” ads are also anti-minority?
We’re tired of these tactics and signs like these that keep various groups from participating,” said Jayme Montgomery-Baker, state director of the League of Young Voters.
Why would a sign explaining the law cause anyone legally allowed to vote from voting?
This is nonsense. Have we reached the point where explaining the law to people is now wrong?
Fixed it.
"There are so many other issues we should be talking about, like jobs, education and health care."
Tell that to the national Democratic Party, which isn't talking about these issues at all, and only wants to talk about the US Chamber if Commerce.
SOP. The dead are summoned from their graves on Halloween so they have time to creep to the polls. Too many were voting absentee.
The "Great Society" has led only to a growing number of people without consciences.
“We’re tired of these tactics and signs like these that keep various groups from participating.”
I see dead people.
Don't laugh. I recall that when Rudy Giuliani became mayor of New York a few decades ago, he ordered a zero-tolerance policy on petty crimes. Pretty soon, graffiti was reduced, fewer windows were broken, and the ubiquitous squeegee bums (who would "clean" car windshields with filthy water and intimidate the drivers into giving them some change) became a thing of the past. Rudy also started enforcing statutes against drinking in public, particularly by those folks who like to sit on their "stoops" and suck down beer and malt liquor. Minority groups were up in arms about that, since, in the words of one of their "spokespersons," these groups were the ones who participated in that behavior, and therefore, they were being singled out and racially profiled.

WOW!!!
TOO FUNNY REALLY! Right there in that first paragraph “the minority” is accused of voter fraud by these “Several community groups”.
lol. I believe it these days
Obama needs to be impeached, tried for treason and brought to justice. Hopefully we can get the ball rolling after we install a new Congress.
Un.
Freakin.
Believable.
If you are intending on committing felony voter fraud, it's intimidating. And it would suppress the criminal acts.
So you 'community groups' have pretty much admitted you are committing felony voter fraud.
ROUND THESE PUNKS UP.
Sounds like these community groups are a bunch of racists that are insinuating that minorities are most likely to be vote fraud perpetrators.
***IMHO, there is NOTHING more important than stopping voter fraud and I applaud the billboards.***
I heartily agree. I live in Milwaukee and we’ve watched Illinois political tactics creep into the state over the past decade. There is massive voter fraud in Milwaukee and in the Racine area. With the voting machinery being in the hands of Dems in most major cities, it is a continuing source of worry. Much of it is multiple voting, but some of it is ineligible voters brought in by the busload. WI law allows one to register and vote just by presenting a utility bill (!!). The Dems in the WI legislature have shot down photo ID for voting on several occasions. Recently, the Dem legislature tried to pass a requirement that a poll watcher must reside in the district, knowing full well that would leave the most corrupt inner city polling places uncovered.
Funny stuff!
It seems the same all across the country. We watched the inner cities engage in voter fraud for decades. Now it’s creeping into every small town and city across America.
It’s always the dems and they have never been called out on the fraud.
It’s time to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
I hope we have legions of lawyers ready to spread out across
the country to make sure we don’t have another Rossi or Franken theft.
That point was reached the day it was illegal to post the 10 commandments in a school.
That's racist!! sarc
So, in effect, "several community groups" are stating that voter fraud is common enough in the "minority" community to endanger minorities with possible felony charges...
