Jim Cramer: 'President showed arrogance'

Excerpt to middle of article...

Meanwhile, President Obama showed "arrogance" on his part when he announced plans to install a network of high-speed railways without talking to the railroad companies first, Cramer charged.

"I just think the business and the president just don't speak enough," he said. "It's really a shame."

If they build it and no one wants to use it, you just tax fuel and cars until the rail is cheaper!

See, problems solved, demand for this service IS there.

(The thinking of the left)

‘Zero’ will just have the CEO’s for the rail roads over to the White House for a beer with him and a hand full of SEIU thugs and IRS auditors so he can explain to them what he wants.

Hasn't anyone ever argued with a pseudo intellectual? That is their M.O. when they have no idea what they're talking about. I would also add that they rarely know what they are talking about and use their arrogance to dupe those people who aren't sure of their own knowledge of a subject.

A wise man will just keep quiet when he doesn't know.

Watch if Obama slams Union Pacific, which is a company that takes a hard-line tough stance in negotiations with its unions.

Since when does the government own the railroads?

I thought they wre privately owned.

That said, NObama has absolutely no business putting one thin dime of taxpayer money into any upgrades or maintenance or subsidy of any railroad.

They must stand on their own.

Warren Buffett bought Burlington Northern Santa Fe last year.

Why does all of this ‘money to repair & upgrade railroads” sound like a giant payback for Buffett supporting NObama in his election campaigns????

I watch CNBC all day, every day, and have seen several instances of an anchor labeling Obama as extremely unpopular or something on that level. They are not hiding the fact that Obama has fallen off the popularity cliff. In days gone by they were rah, rah, rah anytime his name was mentioned.

...you just tax fuel and cars until the rail is cheaper!

Funny how that works...

Railroads did not receive government assistance after the war. In fact, a war-time 15% excise tax on tickets meant to discourage wartime civilian train travel remained in effect, keeping fares higher than necessary. This tax, reduced slightly in 1954, was not completely removed until 1962.

Guess where that 15% excise tax went? To build highways and airports, of course! Now they want it the other way? No, not really... they just want to smash private enterprise, no matter what. They are doing the same GD thing to Healthcare now.

Cramer’s more than late... he’s an Obama shill. Give him 24 hours and he’ll bendover and apologize for his ‘misunderstood’ comment.

Cramer had the chance to hold firm to sensible ‘business sense’ over a year ago... butt no, he had to shillup with the O.

He’s a bigger shill than the CEO of Catepillar who also bedded up with O when the time was ripe for Business to explain in simple terms just HOW capitalism WORKS, every time it’s tried.

How very true...
Disillusioned Uber-Lib Gore Vidal literally SHREDDED the Failure-In-Chief today, calling him “Incompetent, Incapable of doing the job...”

It’s not on a source that can be posted on FR yet, but MAN, is it ever a blasting!!!

It's a wonder Cramer still has a T.V. job.

I've made hundreds of better stock picks over the last 5 years...than that moron.
