I'm struggling to think of a reason for this extraordinary one-man vendetta of yours, and the only thing I can think of is that Palin ran over your dog and then reversed back over him.

Pissant, this is insane. You're citing a niche poll two years out as if it means something. It does mean something. Specifically, it means that Sarah Palin is nowhere near as popular among the general public as her ardent supporters would have you think. It's a measure of people's perceptions of her qualifications.
Note that it's really more than a 16-point gap for Palin -- there's that other 10% who would vote for neither her nor Obama.
But of course, none of that matters to a True Believer.
