The Machine Gun Shoot Competition happened at the Knob Creek Gun Range in Kentucky this weekend in which hundreds of machine gun dealers, owners and enthusiasts showed up to fire four rounds at random appliances and vehicles.
The Knob Creek Gun Range websites describes this event with similar giddiness and rhetoric of a 13-year-old at a Return of the King premiere, stating:
..The charges are set off by the impact of the bullets. Creating large and small mushroom clouds and fire balls from hell!
Its true. Astute men, women and judging from the FAQ sheet on their website inquiring what kind of gun to buy a child, even children, gather to shoot at and explode various objects to: Prove a point of freedom? To ascertain the rednecks dominance over inconspicuous home appliances? To scare away Tom Robinson?
Whatever the reason, it didnt seem that the Machine Gun Competition was enough to settle the burdening desire, rather, God given right, no, necessity, to shoot at and blow stuff up. So naturally there was also an Assault Rifle Competition, Old Military Bolt Rifle Competition, K.C.R Shotgun Competition, K.C.R Practical Pistol Competition and the regular old Military Gun Show.
To further christen the event, Rand Paul showed up and called out Obama for trying to take away gun owners divine rights:
The president says that youre out here in the middle of the country clinging to your guns and ammunition. What I tell the President is, Were clinging to our guns, our religions and our ammunition.
Of course you are, what with these damn liberals running around demanding civil rights, equal opportunity and same sex marriage we need some level-headed people with the machine capability to mow down anyone that stands in their way of having rights.

Saturday, Liberty Hill will be over-run with more ARtists. Writing their tapestries in berms, splashing molten lead onto steel plates, drawing bullet paths ...
Woodstock, the Carbon Fiber version.
I think I probably will.
Just haven't decided whether to drive up Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
Hey Frog, thanks for the link. Heck yes I’m going, I might not be there until noonish if I have to work Saturday morning. It would be cool to meet you out there and put a face to the Smokingfrog handle.
Let’s see, I’ll be wearing a burnt orange UT Longhorn shirt (since it is game day) and an old school Purina Chow feed store cap that says Gaddy’s Pflugerville on it. I’m about 6’3”, 230. I’ll be the guy that looks confused!! Looking forward to meeting you.
I’d tap that...
“Colleen Stufflebeem”???
“Colleen Stuffed My Beam????”
Hmmm....HOW did I miss that...must be getting old...
But yeah...I’d tap it...twice, even (grinning)....
Two Bulls Standing on a hilltop, looking down at a herd of cows...
The Young Bull says “Hey Gramps....Let’s run down there and screw one o’ them there cows...”
The Old Bull shakes his head, and says, slowly:
“No, SONNY...let’s WALK down there...and screw ‘em ALL.”
And therein lies the difference between youth and wisdom...

I have a bazooka hanging on the shop wall. Still looking for “rounds” for it...
Should the time come when we need something more potent than rifles, they will be available.
Rifles and guns are quite effective, except against a modern military force. Whether the Libs like it or not, the military are the friend of the citizens of the nation. Oath Keepers are just a token compared to the “patriots” in the military.
First we clean the Traitors clock on Nov. 2, then we can make a plan for more permainent defeat of the enemies of “we the people”. Identify, charge, try, convict and punish the TRAITORS.
I know!! Dang!! Well at least it made her day for sure.
After I told everyone about how incredible that event was, and showed them the pics and video you took, they were disappointed they didn’t go.
I’m still looking for video from the helicopter.
Lot’s of pics here too.
