This Tierney guy was the model for Tony Soprano’s buddy in politics, right?

Or was that a different Congressman.

NEG article rule in play. If its negative coverage for a DEM then no party affiliation is mentioned. Search my other posts

Same old story, different day. We will have more of a fair shake in elections with Palin and other conservatives when the old media finally dies off. 1. Detroit City Council Member Monica Conyers scandal 2. Hank Morris scandal 3. Illinois Governor Blagojevich 4. Bonusgate etc etc.

First it was TurboTax, now it’s QuickBooks/au pair getting blamed? Sheesh, these Dems sure love throwing Intuit under the bus!

Tierney throws his wife under the bus. What a swill guy. Do you know who Mrs. Tierney’s lawyer was in her divorce? That’s right, John Tierney. He got what he wanted.

"His campaign under siege after his wife's admission this week to falsifying federal tax returns, Congressman John Tierney said Friday he knew very little about her management of a bank account full of illegal gambling profits.

"I couldn't tell you if there was $5 going through there or $500. It was her family's stuff," he said."

So who's his wife's family? The Corleone family?

God willing, we’ll pick up at least MA-10 and MA-06 in a few weeks. And I still haven’t given up on MA-03, MA-05 or (in what would be the biggest upset of the cycle) MA-04.

JMHO this human piece of excrement is light in the loafers. Patrice is a beard and apparently not a very helpful beard.

Hopefully some of those will be changing soon.

Before last January I would have said "impossible".Today I'll say "unlikely".

[Either he’s the Albert Einstein of gambling, or he owns his own casino and fleeces the tourists, or this is a money laundering scheme involved in corrupt activities of some kind. Drug smuggling, political payoffs maybe.]

I’m a vegas guy, just wrote a book on the Nevada mob. You are sooo right, even the mob had a hard time fleecing that much. You have to be laundering, not just skimming the slots.

Good luck with the book. I just went to Amazon and voted on the reviews.

Hey, thanks!

By the way, the first review was a negative one. In part that was because the first edition was rushed and we are now on edition 4.

But more interesting is that review came from the daughter of the late Pete Echeverria. Pete had been a lawyer to pimp Conforte in the 60s before becoming the Gaming Commission Chairman before Reid. I am pretty sure Conforte set up Reid to take over the Gaming Commission from Pete because Joe was trying to get a gaming license for a megaresort. I wonder if Echeverria’s daughter was trying to cover up for her dad?

In short, be suspicious of what any critics say about my book. Not that I’m perfect, but a lot of people have hidden agendas in Nevada, it is a liars paradise.

I just got done with an email debate with Jon Ralston, who claimed I was a paid hack and a lesser mortal before clamming up. The media are scum.

Was the “Au Pair” in this country legally? Did he pay over $23/hour?

“Republican Bill Hudak, who is running against the seven-term congressman, said Tierney’s votes “call into question ... whether they were tainted by this scandal.”

“The voters of the 6th District deserve a full accounting of this troubling issue and won’t stand for politicians looking the other way,” Hudak said in a statement.”
