Several developments have occurred in recent days that indicate something as innocuous as visiting pro-gun rights websites that are critical of government Constitutional compliance, and especially participating in comments and forums, can results in heightened law enforcement scrutiny and even as a supporting criteria for "legal" intervention.
On Friday, I told WarOnGuns readers I was aware of a child welfare case in New Hampshire where one of the criterion for removing a child from its parents was an ostensible membership of the father in what protective services was characterizing as "a militia known as the Oath Keepers."
Long-time readers know we've discussed Oath Keepers--specifically not a militia group--many times, including attempts by the Department of Homeland Security, the Southern Poverty Law Center, opportunistic politicians, and certain media outlets to conflate them with violent haters. For this, and other reasons, I told WoG readers I was deferring to Rhodes to take the lead on this, and maintaining contact with him behind the scenes.
He has since issued this report, used as the basis for a WorldNetDaily story by Bob Unruh. It appears the father in question's tie to OathKeepers was that he commented on their forums. A danger, per Rhodes:
But an even more fundamental point is that regardless of the other allegations, it is utterly unconstitutional for government agencies to list Mr. Irishs association with Oath Keepers in an affidavit in support of a child abuse order to remove his daughter from his custody. Talk about chilling speech!

Well...I’m in liberal western Oregon....it’s not real friendly....to some.
They will be your downfall long before any government entity will.
They don't have to round us up when half of the country are gleefully loading themselves into the cattle cars.
I bought NFA arms in part, and use my real name in posts, to remind ME that I’m on “lists”. No delusions about anonymity here...
If you have a CCDW license it’s a safe bet you are on one of the first lists Homeland Security will be going after.
Bet your bottom dollar when they clamp down, they’ll be coming after us long before they take a second look at any middle easterners with expired Visas.

No, Im Hussein Obama (Sparticus)!
A semi-quote from Steve Martin in “The Jerk”, “the new government watch list is here, the new watch list here, I’m finally somebody.”
That’s all I got.
Not if, but when.
I’d be surprised if FR isn’t up near the top of the watched lists.
But folks here ought to realize, they aren’t going to knock your doors down. They will start by using the IRS to harass everyone they can pinpoint. Those 16,000 new IRS agents aren’t intended to collect fines for not buying insurance. They are coming to beat the populace into submission without using guns.
Bet on it.
What ever happened to that nazi style Obama email scheme?
I have little doubt we are being watched here at FR and post accordingly. Loose lips sink ships.
My Gadsden flag is proudly stickered to the back window of my truck. It flies every day, and wherever I go.
Yes, DO put me on Obama’s WATCH LIST!
They will regret ever putting me on it.
I’ll give anyone who will listen an interview they will never forget on why I post here and what is on my mind.
“I stopped caring what lists I might be on many years ago.”
Same here.
List away!
You're right. When the socialist fascists finally show their true colors the first people they will go after are the hosts of talk radio and Fox news. Once they completely control the airwaves and all the people are hearing is the good news and great things they are doing... The second round will be those with registered weapons. That'll take some time and be very bloody. The third round will probably be agents showing up at FR and similar forums, getting IP lists etc. That'll be followed by visits to the major ISPs as they look for us "extremists" and potential dissidents who might "disrupt the peace." The socialist paradise peace.
Seriously, I've started an E&E plan and preparations. They may eventually get me, but it will take too long and cost them far more than I'm worth. When Fox and talk radio go dark, I'm gone. I would advise every patriot to be similarly ready to escape, evade, and eventually join the resistance if and when it comes to that. I swore and oath to defined the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I signed my name, I intend to keep that oath, I am a man of my word.
Otherwise known as the Betsy Ross flag.
I bought one for my dad ten years ago, and he's never flown it. Last time I visited, I almost asked for it back. I'd fly it every day.

Without question. We’re dealing with fascists.

That’s why [the American] people SHOULD respond with firearms & ammo.
Honestly, if you’re going to be a felon for not having health insurance (and with the way things are anyone who thinks a high midterm-election turnover is going to do any but minorly-offset the HOARDS of unelected bureaucrats, “law Enforcement”, and judges needs their head examined) what do you have to lose by becoming a “murdering, treasonous, and seditious” felon?

I have wondered if I am on a list everytime I fly. Who would believe a blond hair, heavy set woman would be dangerous to anyone, but get patted down and scanned evey time. I have decided not to fly anymore because of the treatment.
