Paladino calls gays 'dysfunctional'
Associated Press ^ | REUVEN FENTON and JEREMY OLSHAN

Carl Paladino says it’s not okay to be gay.

"There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual," the Republican gubernatorial candidate told a small Hasidic group at K’hal Adas Kasho synagogue in Williamsburg today.

"That's not how god created us, and that's not the example that we should be showing our children."

Paladino, who has made his opposition to the gay marriage and "the homosexual agenda" clear, went much further yesterday, to say children "would be much better off and much more successful getting married and raising a family" than being gay."

"And I don't want them to be brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option," he said. "It isn't."

The speech came just days after the suicide of a gay Rutgers student and an anti-gay gang attack in the Bronx.

His Democratic opponent, Andrew Cuomo, blasted the remarks as "stunning homophobia and a glaring disregard for basic equality."

A campaign spokesman said "These comments along with other views he has espoused make it clear that he is way out of the mainstream a

It said, "Anything you eat is created by God, so it's good if received in thanksgiving. What you eat won't separate you from God."

And since that's not what G-d said, my position is pretty much vindicated.

They promote openly and proudly their dangerous death-style with impunity. They do not keep their sex lives to themselves, and yet demand that we bow our heads, cast down our eyes, cover our ears, and zip our lips or we are nosey haters (or homosexuals deep inside and just don't know it yet, or my favorite...we must not KNOW a homosexual)

No they (and their abettors) just don't like pushback...not at all.

Don't forget the part about AIDS being the disease "most worthy" of donations and that it isn't the result of behavior (but of courses we must ban salt in restaurants because salt kills!).

Why don’t you go somewhere else to push the gay agenda. It won’t fly here.

To correct you, the fact is that God decides what is normal and what isn’t, and HE clearly states that homosexuality is a deprivation.

Your point that a psychologist determines this can be very subjective, depending on the point of view of said psychologist.

God’s Word trumps what any man believes, if its contrary to the Scriptures.

Still doesn't change the fact that polygyny is permitted.

To insist that polygyny is forbidden while insisting that the law against homosexuality is permanent is nothing but speciousness and hypocrisy.

I'm not sure what convoluted message you're trying to convey, but polygyny (or polygamy) is against the law in all 50 states. There is no federal law against it, but it is not permitted in the U.S.

He hasn’t recovered enough. I’ve recovered. I used to be a radical hippie. Very radical. I still look like it. But looks are not everything. I’m still a vegetarian. There are plenty of vegetarian conservatives.

If I could change, anyone can change.

People pushing liberaltarian junk and the homosexual agenda love that straw man. They accuse conservatives of pushing religion and God when we’ve never mentioned those words.

It’s quite telling, revealing what they’re really opposing!

Please contact me if you’re interested in being added on or taken off the Carl Paladino for Governor ping list. This looks to be a fairly high volume ping list for a while, probably until the election.

Your post is nonresponsive, irrelevant, and ad hominem.

Got anything useful to say?

It's also not a good idea to have sex outside of marriage, and it's also a sin. Do you think our candidates should start making a point of campaigning on that?

Last time I checked, people who have sex outside of marriage weren't parading in the streets demanding to be recognized as good, upstanding members of society. Nor were they asking to have their sin declared normal and the moral equivalent of sex within marriage.

So what's your point?

Come on, seriously. Do you want to win elections?

Sure. And the pro-homo position is a loser everywhere it's been put to a vote. If more Republicans would take a strong stand on this issue, they might actually have a shot at shaking lose some Black and Hispanic votes from the pro-homo Democrats. The fact that they don't do that indicates to me that they are not serious about winning elections.

I liken being born gay to being born with autism or Downs or any other disability.

No one is born gay. There is no "gay" gene. Stop spreading lies.

The real cruelty is those who propagate the myth that if you are "born gay", you have no choice but to act the part. If you are a man who has effeminate mannerisms, you must embrace the "gay" lifestyle. To sodomize and be sodomized. That is your fate. Accept it.

Such cowardly people do more harm to individuals with same-sex attraction than they will ever realize. It is not "love" to enable "gay" behavior. It is cruelty and cowardice.

Anyone who wants to know what the queer "lifestyle" looks like might want to have a look at the "Up Your Alley Fair", or the "Folsom Street Fair" at zombietime.

Warning: Not safe for work, for small children, or for the easily offended.
