Assistant United States Attorney Gregory Lesser climbed up on stage along with fellow band member and former Manhattan Beach Mayor Russ Lesser, Attorney Jim Miller and a few others at the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair. They then proceeded to break the law - California Penal Code Section 415 - Disturbing the Peace
There are three ways to violate this statute, the members of the band chose "(3) Any person who uses offensive words in a public place which are inherently likely to provoke an immediate violent reaction." The band had written a song especially for the benefit of individuals in the South Bay Open Carry Movement who fought for their right to attend the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair while lawfully and openly carrying handguns in holsters. The lyrics were directed directly at, and verbally attacked, those who were present and openly carrying firearms as well as those who defended this constitutional right.
One would think that an Assistant U.S. Attorney and a private attorney would know better than to break the law, let alone do so on video for the world to see.
But they haven't too much to fear. The Assistant U.S. Attorney works for President Obama who doesn't believe there is an individual, fundamental, enumerated Constitutional right to openly carry a firearm for the purpose of self-defense; even though the United States Supreme Court has twice issued opinions saying that there is.

Lib politicians have never let a silly thing like an old piece of parchment get in the way of what they want to do.
One district attorney says he's now considering a lawsuit to learn the names of bloggers who attacked his personal life. The owner of the website has ignored a criminal subpoena to turn over the names to police.
News On 6's Jeffrey Smith reports McAlester District Attorney Jim Miller says blogger Harold King is a criminal.
King says he's entitled to freedom of speech. The DA says King is guilty of breaking a rarely-used Oklahoma law and he's not giving up the fight.
Hal King runs the McAlester Watercooler website.
"We talk about corruption and problems," said Hal King, owner of McAlester Watercooler.
Recently bloggers have gone to town criticizing District Attorney Jim Miller. Last week, cops showed up at King's door with a subpoena, demanding 35 names, addresses and social security numbers of those bloggers.
"He should not be using his position, or the police authority, for this kind of activity," said King.
Without that, it's just a lot of baffle-gabbing by a blowhard.
Maybe you could link to it???
Would that I were a judge and they pulled that in my court!
