Yes, my son is in a class on civil rights at a state run college and its a nightmare for him. Imagine being told, regularly, that your skin color makes you an automatic racist. Your subjective mental state has nothing to do with it, that you’re born into racism by virtue of your genetics, that any genetically distinct group with majority power is racist by definition.
This is a devious shift of the meaning of “racist,” and it’s time to engage the enemy on the battleground of semantics and drag that word back to its original meaning: personal, individual, real hatred of racial identities other than your own.
But that would never do, because then members of minority groups could be racist due to a lack of individual virtue, and members of majority groups could free of racism due to the possession of individual virtue, and the whole race-baiting industry would collapse for lack of a premise.
Unfortunately, funding universities and local school districts serves up more of the same. Don’t have answer really, because the propaganda is required “curriculum” so no way to avoid it. And trying to reason with them is part of their plan as well, as it serves as a method of identifying who needs a bit more attention, it’s insidious.
If your son googles a bit on manufactured consent, delphi technique alinsky method, facilatators, etc, he will understand how he is being used as a punching bag, and how to to avoid it. They have it down to a science and effectively deployed for probably a hundred years.
I had to take multicultural studies for my master’s degree. I have the finest regard for my instructor, who was a young Latino woman with a Catholic heritage. She was a mother with two little boys. She knew the curriculum was mindless brainwashing, but obviously wanted to keep her job.
She let me rant and shred the textbook every week in my papers and even encouraged me. I never would have passed without her. She singlehandedly kept me from losing my mind.

Tell your state rep that this is an unacceptable use of your tax dollars.
