Close to one million insured workers at McDonalds, Jack in the Box and 28 other companies will have to wait for a significant bump in insurance coverage that had been promised for next year by the health reform law, CNN reported today.
The companies have been granted a one-year exemption from a new rule requiring them to raise the maximum amount of coverage they offer employees, CNN said citing an unnamed official.
Companies affected by the law were threatening to drop coverage completely or raise employees premiums by as much as 200 percent to comply with the law, CNN said.

Mostly EVIL insurance companies. Who knew?
based on # of employees.
All the big ones on the list are insurance companies! If they can’t find a way to insure their own employees without raising their rates, then who can?
“The Aristocracy of Pull”
I'll assume that's rhetorical. I think the chickens are coming home to roost earlier than Obama would like. He needs to kick this down the road a bit...say December 2012.
lol
