This is a good example of why the NRA should back pro Second Amendment rats. With the exception of recent history since January 2009, with the rats having the magic 60 votes to end debate in the Senate, almost nothing gets done in the Senate without the cover of bipartisanship, even if it's only one vote from the minority party.
If almost everything breaks our way, the pubbies might get there, i.e. 60 pubbies in the Senate, in 2012 or 2014.
The Republican Party has a real chance, because of the unusually good composition of the 2012 and 2014 Senate elections, to acquire something that Republicans have never had before: a filibuster-proof Senate.
Even then, there could still be useless RINOs!

Senators, I have your pitchforks. I have your torches.
The letter is great. I love it.
Now take a stand out of the office and out in the world and make it clear that tyranny will not be tolerated.

These rifles are not something that gangbangers would want. They would probably be sold to American Patriots through the CMP and that is the group that the regime fears more than the cartels.

Bravo, Sen. Cornyn! Sad to not see either of the Florida Senators on the letter, though.

Question, can a US citizen purchase a firearm overseas and then import that firearm on their own?

I have a very fundamental question for the Senator...what gives you the right, responsibility or jurisdiction to block the importation of these weapons?

No matter what Cornyn says, sponsors or signs; he is still a RINO.
He is not up for re-election now, but that day will come. And it will for KBH too.

If this does happen, what would you like to bet that they do NOT do anything historic such as reverse an earlier Bill that was passed such as ObamaCare, the tax increases, you name it. I’ll bet they do not use it to their advantage and get something passed that they otherwise couldn’t.

It is so weird how Senators work. Why don’t they just call her and tell what they want to say. She was a Senator and know each other. I would not make a very good Senator at all because I could not do all this formality nonsense.
