Jay Leno, the television talk show host, and Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, have been criticised for making a sexual joke about Christine O'Donnell, the Republican Senate candidate.
Leno asked MacFarlane on his Tonight Show programme whether he would like to have "sexual relations" with Ms O'Donnell, the Tea party-backed candidate in Delaware.
MacFarlane replied: "I think the second she opened her mouth, it would probably ruin everything," to which Leno said: "Or make it really good."
They were accused of sexism by Name It. Change It, an anti-misogyny group, which claims that their comments are representative of a wider problem of media coverage of women politicians.

I didn’t even know anyone still watched these late night liberal trash hounds..
They reason they don’t do it to Dem female politicians is that they are so ugly no one would consider having sex with them. Even the leftists. I mean really, would anyone think about having sex with Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama? Seriously?
Huh? Why in heck were they even having this conversation? Glad I don’t watch these morons.
If they did, they would be in the sights of the FCC immediately.
But they'll let this disgusting filth pass.
No man would "have sex with" Hillary. Hillary would have sex with him.
They'd never make a comment like that about Pelosi or hillary.
Ridicule ol’ ‘Thunder Thighs’? Never.
that’s pretty crude stuff for network tv
“Change It, an anti-misogyny group”
I hate that group.
I think he should apologize to all six people who were watching.
Time to retire Jay
Wow....had to hear about it from a paper from across the pond!!! Crude remark for Leno. Shame on him...his ratings must be in the gutter
Jay Leno would like people to believe he is just an amiable guy who likes to poke fun at both sides. For the most part that is true, but this exchange is one of the rare ones that reveal Leno to be just another Hollywood elite liberal.
A woman who does not agree with their political agenda is only good for one thing.
I haven’t watched any of the late night shows in more than 10 years and this is just one of the many reasons why.
Michelle is married....that is different. If you are a young single women, the joke is not the same. Christine is a different story because she is single. Oh nevermind, Jay is married so it probably was not that great....but then again was the other guy with Jay single? Perhaps he finds O’Donnell good looking and wants a date.
Good grief, that really is beyond the pale. I sometimes think I can’t despise modern-day Hollywood any more than I currently do now, but they keep pushing it.
Yeah, I thought better of him.
Not one myself to use such tactics about people, I will say Leno, seems "bursting at the seams" - with what; anyone can take their own definition.
