Wow. That is very telling about the sad state of affairs.
You can pay off your house, and still not get title to it.
Without title, she can’t leave it as an inheritance, can she?
I swear, that is just evil.
"Our" little website The Foreclosure Hamlet, run by greedy, deadbeat volunteers was hacked last night. After a bit of a struggle it is now back online.
How long before Michael's site gets shut down? He will be the featured guest along with Disabled Vietnam Veteran Mr. Ramsey Harris on WSTU Radio with a Live Video Stream on October 8th 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM EST.
TAMMIE LOU KAPUSTA having been first duly sworn or affirmed, was examined and testified as follows: .......snip Assignments were prepared again from the casesum. All of our stuff comes from the casesum. They would be stamped and signed by a notary or not. Per floor we had a designated spot to place them and Cheryl would come once a day and sign them. Q Sign them as what? A As - Q For the bank? A Correct. Q Or for MERS or whoever it was for? A Correct. Q Would these notaries be there watching her as she signed? A No. Q She would just sit there and sign stacks of them? A Correct. As far as notaries go in the firm I don't think any notary actually used their own notary stamp. The team used them. Q There were just stamps around? A Yes. Q And you actually saw that? A I was part of that. Q You did it? Are you a notary? A No, I'm not. Q Did you sign as a witness? A I did not. I signed as a witness on one document and after that I decided that I didn't want to put my name as a witness anymore. Q Tell me about the stamps. You stamped them? A Yeah, I had stamps. Each team had a notary on them or notaries that I was aware of. Whether they were or weren't wasn't Q You had stamps? A Correct. We would stamp them and they would get signed. Q Stamp them in blanks? A Yes. Q Who would sign them? A Other people on the team that could sign the signature of the person or just a check on there or whatever. Q Was that common practice? A Yes. Q Was that standard practice? A Pretty much. Q What about the witnesses? A Those would be signed by juniors who were't Q Standing there? A Here, sign this. It has to go to Cheryl, sign it. Then it would go and sit at the desk where Cheryl would sign everything. Q Out of view of the notary and out of view of the witnesses? A Correct.
Food Stamp Fraud, Bell City, California, Medicare fraud in Florida. There is more than enough money.
I don’t doubt TPTB won’t like too much daylight shed on what they are really up too.
Thanks for the heads up - Your friend is all man!
That's a situation I'm starting to contemplate.
I took out a mortgage in 2005; I'm wondering if, when I pay it off, I'll be able to get a clear Title.
If I can't get a clear title, I can never sell it, so its only value is the fact that I'd be able to live in it "rent-free" (except for the property tax).
I just looked up our records at the county recorder of deeds. We refinanced twice as rates dropped. The first one was recorded as being with MERS, and was recorded as satisfied (also MERS). The second refinancing is not recorded at all. We’ve been paying on it since 2004, but our county has no record of it existing. The whole MERS entity is another ball of wax. When hubby gets home tonight we’ll be talking about getting some legal advice. I don’t see how we’ll have clear title if we pay off the balance of our loan. I’m sick to death of corrupt bankers and politicians.
And the worst thing about it is, there is no clear idea of who you could shoot if you wanted some justice. (Which is something the government is sure as hell uninterested in.)
We took out ours in 2001, but we refied twice.
I have looked for our house in the MERS database, but it is not there. Fannie SEEMs to have our house, but with all of the reports of what is going on, it doubt anyone who bought or refied since 2000 KNOWS who really has title.
If NONE of us can get clear title, what happens to the equity we have put in?? How can we sell??? Why am I paying for something I can’t OWN???
Here is the link to the MERS® Servicer Identification System
Might seem silly but any legal document should be signed in BLUE ink ONLY!
Most any congressman or attorney-general would probably be a good start.
!!!!!
This is catastrophic.
To make matters worse, Obama is subject to blackmail over his true status as an illegal alien.
Right now Obama wants to pretend to side with victims of mortgage fraud. It is all lies. He will delay signing any bill that will make foreclosures easier. For the time being. But his actions are intended only to avoid hot lights and cameras and tough question in the White House. In the end, zero is a guy who knows all about fraud.
His whole life is a fraud. Even his name is a fraud. His real name is Barry Soetoro.
He is, in fact, an illegal alien. He was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. The family moved to Indonesia where Barry gave up his U.S. citizenship.
Even though he hides behind a false certificate of live birth (COLB) -- his actions in Indonesia are a matter of record. His real names is Barry Soetoro. He is a secret Muslim, attended Islamic school and lived openly as a Muslim overseas.
King zero will side with the banksters. He is a proven liar and totally corrupt
Thank you for the MERS link. I found both of our re-fi loans in the database, with both showing Fannie Mae as the investor. It still doesn’t explain why one of them isn’t recorded in our county records, and two MERS loans don’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling . . .

I’ve been busy and didn’t see this story til now ... WOW!! http://stopforeclosurefraud.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Full-Deposition-of-Tammie-Lou-Kapusta-Law-Office-of-David-J-Stern1.pdf
This is not a movie or anything like it.
It's really happening.
Error and Omission policies across the board face sobering exposure.
This is as series and hue as anything I can think of.
I finally got our State Banking oversight people involved, and they wrote a rather threatening letter. Whereupon, the problem was solved....BUT...and you won't believe this, I got a rather nasty phone call from one of the assts. to the CEO of Countrywide. He actually had the temerity to bitch me out for “getting those people involved.”
