Yes, well put. It would have been easy if I had held myself up to higher standards when I was young. But my mom resented my dad, and he did not know how to be a father and especially to me, so I picked up my moms resentment of my dad. Anyway, I’m glad to have my little girl dreams validated, even if i missed my chance. I know there is such a thing as a happy family. I’m not crazy. Having a good man sure helps.
