Yes, that is the key that I think others are missing, we’re not talking about the bad man, we’re talking about the good man. Too many have been damaged by the bad man and see all men, unconsciously, as the bad man.

Yes, well put. It would have been easy if I had held myself up to higher standards when I was young. But my mom resented my dad, and he did not know how to be a father and especially to me, so I picked up my moms resentment of my dad. Anyway, I’m glad to have my little girl dreams validated, even if i missed my chance. I know there is such a thing as a happy family. I’m not crazy. Having a good man sure helps.

Well, “you have no right to question him”...make everything comfy and speak in soft tones...have the children be quiet????...I love the basic idea of being a loving wife but this guide just is a bit nutty in some respects and I believe it is partly the overly submissive attitude about women that is partly to blame for feminism gone astray.
