O my gosh abigail2...that article is a bit much! Really good stuff mostly but “you have no right to question him”...”don’t complain if he stays out all night” ...yikes...
No, I long for the good old days when it was possible in most places in the US for a family of four to live off the income of one parent. But now, due to outrageous taxation at all levels, that is no longer the case.
I also long for the days when a fatherless home was the exception rather than the rule, and then, usually due to an unfortunate loss of the father.
In both cases, my comments refer back to the family's ability to provide the offspring with proper parenting, either denying them all quality time together or by denying them the benefit of a positive male role model.
The piece "The Good Wife's Guide" is asinine and an affront to human dignity and the American spirit...freedom and liberty. It wasn't like that in my parent's household.
Would "The Good Husband's Guide" counsel men on how not to get stumbling drunk too often, and not get carried away while beating your wife?
The "guide" essentially labels the husband as a master and the wife as a servant with no ability to participate in financial or family related decision making, not to mention possessing any personal opinions.
To the final comment you circled: "A good wife knows her place"...
What if she's smarter, stronger, has a more valuable skill set or is real handy with a weapon?
Good morning, I didn’t write that, I just found it and remember reading articles like that when I was young! LOL I long for the days when the man was the hero, the bread winner the protector and the woman loved the man. When life was simpler, and only needed one bread winner...too.

THE WAR AGAINST BOYS IS THE SUBJECT! This is great. She is saying that she wrote it a long time ago but now it is coming more and more evident, women don't want men to be men, but try to emasculate them. Guest is talking about how successful women are today compared to male counterpart. Women see masculinity as toxic. They don't want the men children playing with guns, fighting, competing.
Jesse agrees, and he doesn't see a conservative effort to change things.
Jesse asks about Christine O'Donnell. Guest says she is not traditional. She and Sarah are not the feminist idea of woman! LOL
They want to integrate the sexes like they integrate the races. They forget that we are different. So they push for radical integration.
Caller asks about boys in schools. She put son in private Christian school, but alot of the teachers teach toward girls rythmns not boys. Guest says they have changed the books to make it look like the west was settled by girls! LOL
Jesse asks why do parents sacrifice their boys to these schools. She says alot of parents don't realize what is happening. Or they think is is not too important.

Im sorry that I was called away, but it sounds like they are talking now about the 91% of blacks still support Obama! Patrick says that he never realized this so much that whites have to speak up to blacks. HE says that they will speak up a little, but really they don't want to have to put up with the ruckus that comes from speaking up strongly. I agree Patrick. Sometimes you see that you need to speak up but you just don't want to put up with what you know will follow. Unfortunately if you don't speak up effectively, it will never end.
Jesse asks Patrick if Obama is a "Jackass" as he was referred to by Rush Limbaugh. Patrick says he says yes, but he doesn't agree with everything, Rush said he doesn't know anything about capitalism, but Patrick says he thinks he knows alot about it, enough to know just how to ruin it.
Caller says that blacks will give whites a harder time if they try to correct them. TRUE! If a black man corrects a black man, they don't go off like they do when a white man corrects them. HE says he doesn't blame the white man, because he doesn't want to put up with the drama. That is soooooo true!
They want to turn men into metrosexuals, I say: Stand up dammit and be a man!

Good morning. I really don’t think that Obama has the full awareness of the evil that he is doing as Pat and Jesse seems to believe. He was raised and brainwashed a communist, like millions of people. I just do not think that is a deep understanding of him. There are people like that like Hitler and such, but this man is a dupe.

Yes, I agree...a true american wife loves the good in her husband but will stand against him when he is wrong! With strength and love. God’s spirit is in both the husband and wife after all...whether or not it is activated in each one.
Maize....sigh...talking about congressmen getting so much money and do nothing. Isn't that welfare. Patrick says most of the congressmen are grossly overpaid for the good they are doing. SHe seems to be asking why are they angry at the president when they have a problem with congress too, and they are mostly white. Sigh...she says Patrick is jealous of Obama.
Patrick is now talking about what is O's plan for blacks. He says he is a destroyer, he is a community agitator. Saul Alinsky taught how to agitate. O is an agistator. Patrick says that he is an expert at pinning everything on someone else. He does not know how to be 'for' anything. He only knows how to be against it. If conservatives win in November, he will use crisis's to implement what he wants to do. Black people are the shock troops. They are radical, socialistic. He will use these people to implement whatever he wants to do...intimidate the elections, etc. He is fomenting racial divisions, he will use them. HE will use the fact that people are out of control to produce more laws constraining us.
He has the power of executive order, he can write executive orders without any checks or balances.
Caller asks why do people keep voting for repubs or dems, when they stand for the same thing. Patrick said the repub party was started to end slavery. Caller disagreed, but Patrick said the repubs DID form to end slavery! Now they are not the same.
TEd called and said the EMancipation Proclamation by Lincoln was an EO. Also, they are subject to review by judicials...but of course as Patrick pointed out they are getting more and more abused over the years like all things.

I actually like it. I wish I had been wiser when I was young and waited until I married to have sex, and married someone I respected and trusted and adored. I would love to have been like that article to him. I think Sarah is that way. I read her book and I’m sure she loves and respects her husband. I know she says he is a better person than she is. He acts as her conscious at times.
