Good evening. We have a great deal of new polling thats flooded in. Much of it is interesting too, so rather than pick and choose which polls Ill cover in depth and which I will omit, instead Ill give a quick look at all the good ones.
Weve got Senate races in Nevada, Connecticut, West Virginia, Ohio, New York, Missouri, and Delaware, plus races for Governor in Illinois, Rhode Island, New York, Hawaii, and Florida. I told you it was a lot.

OK, let me just say that this is one of the most useless excerpted posts of the day. It provides absolutely no useful information. We are all less smart for having read it.

Linc Chafee returns in Rhode Island as he leads the Rasmussen poll for Governor. As an independent Chafee has 33 to Democrat Frank Caprios 30 and Republican John Robitailles 22, MoE 4.. This is one independent run that seems to hurt the Republican, unlike the usual trend this year.At least the dirt bag isn't claiming to be one of ours, and can only damage the dumb little state that may vote for him.

Ohio: The wheels might also be coming off for Democrat Lee Fisher as Quinnipiac puts Republican Rob Portman up 55-36 (MoE 3.1).This is news? This race was over on the day Fisher was chosen to run for the Democrats.

Good for you, glad to have lessened your overall intelligence..
I only actually posted it for the Hawaii Gov. info, that IS new, but I stopped from posting this earlier for copyright issues with FR over the site being published!

The point is that YOU get to decide what to excerpt. IF the important thing to you in the article was the Hawaii Governor information, you could have excerpted THAT PART, rather than the boilerplate information from the start of the article.
I wonder if there are a lot of freepers who don’t know that they can choose what to excerpt? Because a lot of them do just do the first few paragraphs, when it’s a lot better for FR if you excerpt a part of the article that has useful information.

It’s a short enough article I’d just said “NEW POLL STUFF HERE” and let you go read it. There’s not a whole lot worth excerpting.

I do CWCT, however it generally customary to post the first couple paragraphs. I figure if freepers want to read the whole article (though I know there are more important facts later on) they can click on the link.
I could have excerpted that part, however, it gives the excerpted website more business that is generally better for them (especially a conservative website like RS), and I do not mind helping them out by promoting their website/blog.
this really is not a big deal..

Even though the news is generally good, I must caution against “irrational exuberance”. After all, we are dealing with the Repukelican party and they have a distinct history of allowing the hype to build until any gains they do make look anemic. They also are the only party I know that has consistently grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. The entire key will be which party turns out the vote. We already know that buses are being scheduled for the union and black voters by every union, community organizations and so called civil rights groups. The republican must, and I repeat, MUST drive home the message to their voters, “If you sit at home thinking we have already won, then we will absolutely lose.”
Personally, I don't think the margins will be any different from any other off year election, excluding the 1994 results. Being fed up is not the same as doing something about it like, oh I don't know, VOTE!!!

No, it wasn’t a big deal, I was just making fun out of how there was no information in the post at all, that without going to the article you learned absolutely nothing.
It was funny to me.

LOL..I see, it was late, and I didn’t get the humor, however it’s ok ;-)!
