with environmental groups basically on the same team, terrorist might have seen some gain at this
I could find nowhere in the article a description of what this stuff is and what made it “toxic”.
From another article:
The sludge, a waste product in aluminum production, contains heavy metals and is toxic if ingested.
Hungary? Not after being stuck in this slop.
I predict that this ecological “disaster” will float down the river, empty into the sea, and cause no problems whatsoever except to the dozens of green weemies who collapse in apoplexy over the “horror” of it all.
I further predict that every death, cold, hiccup, or hangnail that occurs in Central Europe in the next six months will be blamed on this non-event, and that it can be absorbed by filtering it through vast piles of money.
That’s what I was wondering, will this be Europe’s BP disaster with all the gnashing of teeth that we saw over here.
There was another ecological disaster on the Danube in 2000 when a large amount of toxic mine waste containing cyanide, lead, etc. spilled into the river in Romania.
