magnificent!
we could obliterate Ahmawhackoff and his genocidal Mullahs in Iran any day we want to, but we don’t do it
lack of will, lack of judgment, lack of resolve in our political leadership
Just gorgeous!!
and with the klingon cloaking device, we could rule the skies... wait... we already do...
superb...
Looks like a hornet’s nest!!
subzero won’t do it. W should have but didn’t.
I don’t see anything.
-Look like sitting ducks in a Pearl Harbor line-up.
Or maybe it because we don’t feel a need to further incite the millions (or billions) of muslims around the world who happen to agree with him?
Too bad we aren’t building them anymore.
~Maj. Gen. Mark Matthews, director of plans and programs at Air Combat Command (ACC) in Virginia, says the service’s Requirements Oversight Council in March approved plans for a bomber for early fielding in 2018. Both the date and available funding—scarce as cost for the Iraq war is $500 billion-plus and counting—are dictating the way ahead. Key requirements for a manned system are a 2,000-mi. unrefueled range, primarily subsonic propulsion and a 14,000-28,000-lb. payload. ~
WTF! Our B-52s already have an 8,000 mile range. 2,000 miles? Who does the general think we’re going to war with, Mexico? Quebec?
Did you see the BUFF in the background? On standby. LOL
Had one fly over my house Saturday afternoon. My daughter must have thought it was a UFO because she proclaimed “That’s scary!” and ran inside.
I wonder how many UFO reports those things have caused over the years?
NICE! but since were at war they should be housed in revetments...but what do I know.
I ran the Magnifier over that BUFF, and given the height and shape of the rudder, that’s probably a grounded museum piece. Probably an “A” or “B” model. I think the AF only flies the “G” or “H” models, and they have shorter, stockier rudders.
Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA has a similar BUFF parked in the middle of a park on base next to an F-105 “Thud”. It has a red star on it’s side because it’s the ONLY ‘52 to have confirmed a kill with it’s tailguns of a North Vietnamese fighter.
AND...I didn’t see the “LOL” at the end of your statement. You weren’t being serious. And I, Doofus Erectus, thought you were. My apologies.
No sweat. We all stumble once in a while.
That photo should scare the _ _ _ _ out of anyone who thinks of messing with the USA!
I had to Google BUFF.
Tee-hee.
Consider how “old” this technology is that you’re looking at...
visited an airbase for these, and they were pretty adamant about “no pictures of the back of the aircraft”, I wonder if something has been shopped out of the above photo...
