Lawyer Won’t Say Who Connected Her To Whitman Housekeeper

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Attorney Gloria Allred refused again to disclose how she came to represent an illegal immigrant housekeeper Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman employed for nine years.
At a news conference Tuesday, her third in a week, Allred said the former maid, Nicky Diaz Santillan, was referred to her by a fellow attorney. But she added that it’s her law firm’s policy not to disclose who made the referral. She also declined to say whether the attorney had any connection to Whitman’s opponent, Democratic state Attorney General Jerry Brown.
Allred said Whitman knew for years that Diaz Santillan was an illegal immigrant.
Whitman has claimed she didn’t know until last year when Diaz Santillan told her. She said that’s when she fired her.

what Dr Whitman knew, was that there was a problem with SS verification of Niki’s SS# They were told NOT to terminate her employment, and they did not.
They did not know she was an illegal alien with that letter.
Lesson learned in responding to any interrogatory or deposition, respond in generalities. "I don't recall." "It is possible." "Not likely but I can't rule it out." etc.
this would have been a non issue with a democrat candidate because no conservative lawyer would have been this evil. She should lose her license over this crap.

This whole thing has Jerry Brown’s scummy hands all over it. Another question she won’t ask directly is if she has been in contact with anyone from Brown’s campaign or Brown operatives, although she’s quick to say she’s not been in touch with Brown over this incident.
Allred should be disbarred. She has exposed her “client” to criminal charges.

Mark Levin drops the name Mark Vanderhoop (spell check) as Gloria Allred in an unguarded moment mentions his name as the one who referred the case to her.
Vanderhaupe (?) spoke out in defense of attorney Lynne Stewart who was convicted of aiding and abetting terrorists.
It`s looks most likely a conspiracy by MoonBeam Brown and his political stooges.
I’m glad that someone is asking her that question. Now, who’s paying her firm’s fee?
Well, this is the second California Governor’s campaign in which she’s pulled something like this.
