Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) weighed in on the competition on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night after contestant Kurt Warner appealed to the senator to tweet his hotline number for the show
"1 Cards fan 2 another..Vote 4 me 2nite!" Warner tweeted at McCain.
The former NFL quarterback and Phoenix resident included instructions on how to vote and added "Pls RT!," prompting McCain to later tweet "Vote for @kurt13warner!!"
Warner and partner Anna Trebunskaya earned a standing ovation for their foxtrot and a score of 23.
The endorsement is particularly noteworthy given Warner's competition on the show: Bristol Palin, the daughter of McCain's 2008 presidential running mate, Sarah Palin, is also competing for the title.

He really is a graceless idiot, isn’t he?
(And not really Warner’s best move to pitch Bristol’s mom’s running mate, either.)

Warner should run for Senate against Kyl.

McCain wouldn’t even have supported Sarah if she were on DWTS.

This is silly and petty. Warner is asking for McCains vote, so what. You can vote twice and for different folks. People look for divisiveness, stupid.
I voted Palin, Grey and Warner....

The McCain’s start trashing Palin and her family once they used her to get past conservative JD Hayworth
Palin’s problem is that if she gets used like a rag by McCain and his family....how in the world is she going to stand up to dictators and terrorists as the Chief Executive?

Someone said on this board a few days ago that Bristol would not be sent home until after Sarah made and appearance on the show...well, she has appeared, they got their ratings boost, and as far as dancing goes Bristol is brand new at this and I look for them to get rid of her soon.
That is, unless we Palin fans have burnt up the phones in support of Sarah.
But the show is about dancing and not politics, so it is what it is.
Anyway, when was McCain ever loyal to the Palins? He just used Sarah for political gain, and that's it.

If there are 10 contestants, you can vote 10 times. 8 contestants, vote 8 times.

Bristol Palin needs to disappear.
She’s becoming an embarassment.
First her baby-daddy.
Then their “reconciliaiton”.
Now DWTS.
Not as grating as Amy Carter was, but getting there quickly.

I watch once in awhile. My parents used to dance. They even taught at Arthur Murray’s. But they never danced professionally and didn’t like dancing with anyone else.
