Steele is a stupid affirmative action hire. GOP pandering ala Glenn Beck. We need a 'black face'. No way he would have got the job if he was merely a failed Senate candidate and white. No way he's still have the job if he'd screwed up so badly and was white.
It's pathetic that the Republicans continue to pander to Blacks, hire affirmative-action types like this, overlook the faults of people like Steele, Condi Rice and Colin Powell, and end up being betrayed by them. How totally predictable.
Speaking of how badly Steele is doing it looks like that while he is RNC Chairman the Republicans will be having one of their greatest political victories in history.
