Smoke and possible fire What the hell does this mean? Smoke only comes out from something when it's BURNING, this is the definition of a fire. Do these leftists think their need to be flames going fifty feet into the air before it's a fire?

Any cook can tell you it’s possible to generate lots of smoke in a kitchen without any flames appearing.

No, smoke often comes out of something when it's smoldering ... a "fire" would imply open flames. Wiring in particular can overheat and emit smoke without ever actually catching fire.
