Whitman Trails After Housekeeper Controversy
RealClearPolitics ^ | 10/04/10 | Sean Trende

The first poll taken in the aftermath of the revelation that California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman employed an illegal immigrant as a housekeeper suggests that she may be taking on water. Last week, Whitman's former housekeeper appeared at a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred, claiming that she had been inappropriately discharged, and that Whitman had employed her fully knowing that she was an illegal immigrant. Whitman claims that she had no knowledge of the housekeeper's status and fired her immediately after learning that she'd been living and working in the country illegally. Rasmussen Reports now shows Whitman trailing former Governor Jerry Brown 49 percent to 44 percent.

That’s it..a 5 point deficit, still within the margin of error. Brown CANNOT win here, he is a disaster to this state

It’s RealClearPolitics report.

Believe it at your peril.

Hopefully, the dim-bulb-crats will believe it, and boy do I wish them peril.

It will probably be fine. This only proves that it is best that you present an “October surprise” at the END of October. This still has a full month to be vetted.

They shot their wad to early. they are counting on the media slut G-oria to keep it going. she has about a 72 hour shelf life these days. I expect her numbers to go up before election day.

Remember Jerry Moonbean is the son of Ed Brown that pulled the “actor shot Lincoln” stut on Reagan...that backfired too.

let’s see—she lied under perjury (a shallow threat apparently) on federal forms, she worked under a false SSN for nine years and made $23 per hour—twice the going rate, and then when she is caught in her lie, she joins with the extortionist Allred to bring Meg down—after she has already invested over 100 mil of he rown money on the campaign...
no good deed ever goes unpunished. Remember that all and don;t hire them, any of them.

I know.. I sit here amazed how people are still believing the BS of the lying left and they know these people are commies. Geesh, these are the same morons that are convinced that the commies are “OK” and Christians are thieves, liars and the cause of the world’s problems!

The Book of Revelation... it is not coincidence, it is fact now. “Good is considered bad and evil considered good... people will believe lies and led astray...”

And sadly... it has worked.

I find it amazing that with all the trouble that Calif has that this comes up in the debates. She should ignore the rants of Jerry Brown and stick to the things that are draging the State down. He has nothing else to talk about. All she has to do is talk about today.........or his past, which is bad enough.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the California electorate. It was not always this way. Now the productive people have been chased out and the parasites are running the state. I know. I was born here in California and believe we have sailed past the point of no return. When Brown is elected the Democrats can take all of the credit for the oncoming cataclysm.... and that might not be a bad thing.

It is the Fiorina / Boxer race that concerns me most.

Knowing California Democrats (the sleaziest of democrats), they’ll have something even less legitimate to parade around a day or so before the election. This is just the warning shot. The may be dumb, but they know how to cheat elections.

When the subject comes up in the next debate; Meg Whitman should just comment that she has become aware of how conflicted and incompetent Federal and State laws/regulations are with respect to illegal immigrants, INS, IRS & SS paperwork.

This is just one more example of what is needed to clean up the mess!! Mr. Atty General!!!

Wait till they poll the backlash after folks figure it out. The fact that anyone in California would even consider voting for Jerry Brown confirms my resolve to get out of the state at the first opportunity. As bad as things are here, Brown and Whitman are the best we can do? God help us.
