One of the stranger stories weve ever read involving an assistant attorney general took a turn on Friday, when Michigans assistant attorney general, Andrew Shirvell, went on personal leave.
The move comes after weeks of intense public scrutiny of Shirvell, who attracted a lot of attention for his personal blog, which repeatedly rips the University of Michigans student president, Chris Armstrong, who is openly gay.

Some of the things he's done are described in a motion that Armstrong filed for a restraining order. They include hiding in Armstrong's bushes with a camera at 1:30 AM, repeatedly stalking Armstrong to bars and restaurants in Ann Arbor, staking out Armstrong's house, showing up to student government meetings to protest Armstrong despite the fact that he is not a student, facebook stalking Armstrong, and making harassing contact with Armstrong's friends.

Armstrong may be a complete piece of left wing garbage, but Shirvell is NOT the kind of person we should be associating with as a spokesman or activist for any cause.
Anyone who's ever had to put up with the behavior of a couple of gay people in a dispute at work knows about it.
Right-to-it answer 2nd post. You’ve had yer coffee this morning...
Armstrong is a homosexual activist who backs “gender neutral” housing on campus. I don’t know much about Shirvell as the press is pushing the homosexual agenda and anybody that’s against it is a bigot. The press and the homosexuals have taken over the dialogue. Depravity makes normal people’s hair stand on end.
What happens is more like Rutgers ~ they get every student on campus running surveillance on their shared dorm rooms night and day.
Shirvell was basically stalking Armstrong around campus and being a complete creeper, in addition to giving off a vibe that he's a closet case himself.
Yup. And there will be a lot of emotional breakdowns. The special dorms are supposed to be for those awaiting sex reassignment surgery. John Hopkins refuses to do them anymore. You don’t treat a mental illness by surgery. Lobotomy doesn’t work either.
You need to be careful making those assumptions as it's something homosexuals do. Seriously. To them everyone is a closet homosexual and no one is righteously angry at perversion. I am NOT accusing you of anything. I'm simply saying that isn't a good tactic.
>>> The homosexuals imagine that if they get gender neutral dormitories that will facilitate their practices.
I’m trying to grasp the concept that the primary goal of homosexual students is to make it easier for heterosexual men and women to score. But somehow that logic doesn’t quite add up. It would seem to me that homosexuals don’t really need gender neutral dorms, as they do their best work in dorms segregated for their own gender. But I’m certain you know best.
For the AG stalker, I expect he has a psychiatric examination in his near future. Stalkers are sick people. As we see daily, even online.
Any other time the cries of govt employees out of control trying to oppress a citizen would resound through the board. Go figure.
1. Shirvell was caught hiding in Armstrong's bushes at 1:30 in the morning with a camera, claiming he was trying to take pictures of a "gay orgy."
2. Watch this interview with him and tell me it doesn't scream out closet case.

It's the homosexual radicals that are using the force of government to push their agenda.
You think he “acts” homosexual so he must be? *sigh*
That said, I think Armstrong wants to push it a step beyond the perfectly normal practice of mixed gender dorms and instead use the "gender neutral" dorm thing on behalf of the last letter of their little GLBT acronym: "transgender."
I think it's perfectly reasonable to object to a policy that would try to stick some dude who wears dresses in a dorm room with 3 girls. But Shirvell is also obsessed with Armstrong far beyond that issue.
It's just a theory with these guys ~ most of them have difficulty thinking much further than their next sexual encounter.
I’m just saying that middle aged men who crawl around in the bushes with a camera trying to catch a glimpse of a gay college student inside doing sex acts tend to...well...you know...swing that way themselves.
He isn't simply a homosexual college student. He's a homosexual activist.
And why is this national news?
I'm more concerned with an LA homosexual group getting government funds to lure homeless teens into their "center". Where's the matching funds for a Christian homeless teen center? The government won't touch it. But they'll fund chicken hawks.
I'm more concerned with an LA homosexual group getting government funds to lure homeless teens into their "center".
Certainly, and if Shirvell really wanted to fight the gay agenda he would have picked a cause like that to attack. Instead he picked a gay kid running for student government at the University of Michigan. Then he proceeded to stalk that kid.
Why do you incessantly down play who Armstrong is and what he's doing? Armstrong is the head of student government at UM and is pushing a radical homosexual agenda.
If anything, it is people like you who falsely play up Armstrong's significance, and do so as a cover to justify the plainly creepy stalker antics of Shirvell.
You have a choice here. Is he an innocent "kid" that's being picked on or an adult that has chosen a deviant lifestyle? If he's just a kid, then he's too young to be pushing a radical homosexual lifestyle. Or he's an adult that has chosen his lifestyle and is pushing it as normal. You can't have it both ways. Either he's old enough or he's a kid. Which is it?
He's a small fish
Shirvell is a UM alumni that is angry at what Armstrong is doing at UM. Armstrong sought the spotlight by pushing a radical lifestyle. You foster that spotlight by posting the articles.
He's a small fish to make a priority of your activism - and laughably so.
I haven't posted any threads on this story. How many have you posted? I am not trying to make it national news. You are.
