You have a choice here. Is he an innocent "kid" that's being picked on or an adult that has chosen a deviant lifestyle? If he's just a kid, then he's too young to be pushing a radical homosexual lifestyle. Or he's an adult that has chosen his lifestyle and is pushing it as normal. You can't have it both ways. Either he's old enough or he's a kid. Which is it?
He's a small fish
Shirvell is a UM alumni that is angry at what Armstrong is doing at UM. Armstrong sought the spotlight by pushing a radical lifestyle. You foster that spotlight by posting the articles.
He's a small fish to make a priority of your activism - and laughably so.
I haven't posted any threads on this story. How many have you posted? I am not trying to make it national news. You are.
Yet you're treating him as if he was a candidate for mayor of Ann Arbor, or governor of Michigan, while COMPLETELY dancing around the issue that Shirvell is a creepy middle-aged man who apparently gets off by crawling around in the bushes with a camera and spying on college students at 1:30 in the morning.
Armstrong may be a scumbag, but Shirvell is a true freak of nature because NORMAL MIDDLE AGED ADULT MEN DO NOT HANG OUT IN THE BUSHES TRYING TO VIDEOTAPE COLLEGE STUDENTS THROUGH THEIR WINDOWS AT 1:3O IN THE MORNING, OR ANY OTHER TIME OF DAY FOR THAT MATTER.
And yes, I do consider misconduct from a high ranking public official in the state Attorney General's Office to be a greater threat to our civilization than having a gay kid elected to his university's student council.
I am not trying to make it national news. You are.
Earth to DJ MacWow: this story already IS national news.
It's been picked up on every major news channel, including the conservative ones like Fox, and has received coverage in all the major newspapers, including conservative ones like the Wall Street Journal where the story linked above came from.
My posting it on the backwater threads of a conservative activist website gives it no more publicity than it already got on its own long before I said so much as a peep about it. But it does bring out the crazies such as yourself, who try to defend the middle-aged Shirvell's indefensible and creepy stalking of a college student.
